  1. You're right. It is now 80 minutes. And then available to purchase in 140 minutes or so. Oh Violet.
  2. I heard both Teenage Icon and Ghost Town on Sunday... From what I heard of those tracks, if the rest are in the same vein, this album will be better than their original.
  3. ^It sounds like a choir. I'm not sure. I need to hear the whole thing because at the moment I'm feeling uneasy. Not Coldplay MX uneasy, but close.
  4. Here's an official 30 second clip: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18607319 Sounds better than the leak did. I have some more faith than I did 3 hours ago with the leak.
  5. I would've liked us to hear a definite album track too... At least that way we would have an idea of where the era was headed. With a single that could be a standalone that was made for the Olympics it will have the same(ish) era vibes but won't give us that much of a representation. Just look at NSC comparatively to the rest of TR.
  6. Yeah; basically the radio were under the impression that they were playing Unsustainable. They were wrong-- it's Survival being played tonight. And we're not sure if it will be on the album or not.
  7. ^Yeah I just heard it. It's like they've gone full gorgonzola on us. 'I'll light the fuse I'll never lose' M'bellz your writing talent floors me. It's Chris Martin-esque genius.
  8. New update: 'New song 'Survival' has been selected by the Olympics to be the main official song for the London 2012 Olympics Matt wrote the song with the Olympics in mind - it's about total conviction and pure determination to win The song will be played throughout the games within stadiums and on international sports TV coverage.' (From their Twitter) The artwork and font is hideous imho.
  9. ^ Yeah I don't know how much of that is true. I can't put the song name and an olympics theme together. Idek, Muse always surprise me.
  10. Maroon 5 has been my guilty pleasure as well. And I agree-- although I thought the third album was a little :\ I felt it in my waters that this album wasn't going to be nice so I avoided it... Rather glad I did  Sorry it was such a disappoint. Christina I  your icon. Also ColdplayKen-- I noticed you are seeing Bruce Springsteen in September-- enjoy that! He was excellent on Sunday and played for 3 hours
  11. It has been announced by NME now so it's official, official. It's Unsustainable being aired at 7.30pm. [Tomato Sauce]
  12. ^ Apparently so... 7.30pm then on Zane's show. Right.
  13. Has anyone listened to the Two Wounded Birds album? Wondering if it is worth a download or not...
  14. ^True. I want it to be true just so I can hear what it is like so I get a vibe on the album... Maybe so I can psyche myself up for September and October. :laugh2:
  15. Spector, Howler, Palma Violets, Zulu Winter, The Milk
  16. It's probably because I'm on holiday and am lurking so I am always like WHERE IS EVERYONE  Yeah I heard that too-- that it should be tomorrow night on Zane Lowe's show. But I follow Zane on Twitter and he hasn't said anything one way or another. Lots of people are saying that the Beeb have confirmed it but I see no real source of confirmation. I'm not saying it is impossible but I'm not staying in and listening to Zane just in case. Plus my brother is back from Ibiza so I'd imagine my house is going to be busy :dozey:
  17. ^ I've just PM'd you with my address and everything; I will be around(ish) now for a bit. Although next week I'm on holiday and 2 weeks after that I am in Spain. But I should be able to turn it around mega quickly as I have nothing else on my plate at the moment.
  18. These days the thread is so quiet... I remember the times during last summer holiday when I'd refresh and there would be pages. Good times.
  19. ^ I was there, one row back from the front. I had never really taken Elbow seriously before, but they are probably one of my festival highlights
  20. From what I saw of it on the NME tour it's going to be much in the same vein as their debut. They better play some of it at Reading. :bomb:
  21. A-Trak
  22. ^ I know it wasn't a random catch. I was just saying that Wolf Gang still rates higher :dozey: I miss Max.
  23. So happening. I really enjoy their sets-- even though it has been exactly the same both time I've seen them (I have the two setlists to prove it and all). I think no matter where you are you can have a good time at their shows. Yessir. Glad you caught them-- I saw your snap of them and was really happy you did. I still would rate Wolf Gang higher though :P
