Neither is it the fault of people with the eating disorder (someone very close to me is suffering from it, so I kind of know how horrible it is to have a close one - and she is very very very dear to me - suffering from it. Funny that everyone that voted so far, has voted for both ... Yeah, so I don't only buy CD's to support the artist, but also because I love CD/vinyl artwork and those CD's/vinyls look damn good in my house! and I love concerts, they can move me in ways that the CD cannot and it's of course a nice opportunity to hang out with friends (or in my case also a good excuse to visit another country to see a show, since I love mostly Danish bands and I don't live there)

I always understood the term 'groupie' as someone who is not into the band for the music, but for the men in it. They want to have sex with the band member, have a kind of personal relation with them. A fan - on the other hand - is then someone who enjoys a band at another level: their music, their gigs, interaction with fellow fans, perhaps thinks that a band's member is hot, but never to a certain degree that that's the obsession (fan's derived from fanatic). It should be about the music/atmosphere created by the band, not a person in the band (or status you might get by a relationship you have with a bandmember). A fangirl seems to fall somewhere in between, but is certainly not the same as a groupie. I don't know if I am clear, hahaha, but yeah, that's my 50 cents. I don't know if this is the general consensus. ...

Hi Lory, The song Pandasyndromet is not the same song as Panda. The song featured on the new Mew album is not Pandasyndromet, but Panda :) I hope that that clarifies some things.

I didn't know if I would like the album, so I downloaded it first for free. Loved it! So went to buy the CD for the price it was sold for back then when it was released. :)
