  1. THIS yes indeed :wacky: And I plan on watching the Puppy Bowl instead of the Black Eyed Peas at halftime. And the Puppy Bowl has its own halftime show... the Kitten halftime show. :cheesy:
  2. Oh no, not page 2! that smile :wacky:
  3. Lovers In Japan in the local Mexican restaurant Go Sagebrush Cantina!
  4. Wow, you must be suffering from withdrawal.
  5. I suppose that's possible, since they will be over there at that time and Sunday is open on their schedule. That would be quite hectic for them, though.
  6. But this is how hard core our coach was: he got with the middle school coaches and had them start to teach the players then, so by the time we got to high school the right-handed batters were already relatively comfortable with bunting/slapping left-handed. Then in high school he would teach you how to do it so you were already running toward first (within the rules) by the time you made contact. If you couldn't do it, he wouldn't put you in. HARD. CORE.
  7. Hello and welcome :nice:
  8. I think they usually take a year "off" every 5 years or so anyway to let the grass get healthy again, so the farm is due for that next year anyway (aside from the Olympics issue, of course, so it's good timing in that sense).
  9. That's okay, I understand. :nice: Our coach in high school made everyone convert to left-handed for bunting and slapping. :| I was naturally left-handed anyway from the first time I picked up a bat, but our coach was hard-core about getting people as close to first base as possible right off the bat. (ha ha)
  10. Howz about you check the TITLE OF THIS THREAD
  11. I'm a Righty for the most part. I bat left-handed though.

  16. In regard to the TEXAS snow: ________________________ BREAKING: At least 6 people hurt by falling ice at Cowboys stadium, where Super Bowl will be held ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - At least six people were injured by falling ice at Cowboys Stadium after another blast of winter slammed North Texas on Friday, a Super Bowl official said. Arnie Valdez with the Super Bowl safety committee said one person was critically injured and taken to a hospital. He did not immediately have details about the others and could not say why those injured were at the stadium. "The ice and snow melting off of the Cowboys Stadium roof has caused several sliding snow falls onto the plaza," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said. He said most stadium entrances had been closed Friday afternoon. The National Weather Service had issued a winter storm warning Friday for Arlington, home of the $1.3 billion Cowboys Stadium where the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers will play this weekend for the NFL title. Forecasters expect a mostly sunny Super Bowl Sunday with highs in the 40s, and organizers said last week that the stadium's retractable roof will be closed. The latest punch of unusual cold and snow hit a city still struggling to recover from Tuesday's ice storm, part of a massive system that paralyzed a large swath of the country with blizzards, thundersnow and bone-chilling temperatures this week. http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/national/breaking%3A-5-people-hurt-by-falling-ice-at-cowboys-stadium%2C-where-super-bowl-will-be-held
  17. :shifty: Hmmm, it's been almost 4 months since the last one...
  18. ^ I prefer Roadie #43, thank you very much
  19. It was a cheeky comment he made in an interview awhile back, I'll see if I can find it. And since it was cheeky, that's why I made the comment about not trusting half the stuff that comes out of his mouth. :nice: EDIT: This isn't the article/interview I was talking about, but it does help support it. This was from August 2010, and apparently Chris was urging U2 to release their stuff as soon as possible... probably because he was/is concerned about a simultaneous release. http://www.live4ever.uk.com/2010/08/u2-have-three-new-albums-ready-for-release/ You're worried with a smiley face, that's cute. I like your attitude! :awesome:
  20. Oh goodness, something tells me she won't answer that though :\ ...
  21. Yes my fingers are crossed also (although I don't have tickets ).
