Oh goodness, thank you Cobalt. This makes me feel a little better, and not quite as ashamed as I felt last week when PoC came up on random play on my iPod. To hit on your point regarding ETIAW, I think my initial wtfery toward PoC was propelled by the fact I was already a bit miffed about wasting $1 of my hard-earned money on ETIAW (actually more than $1, because I also sprung for the CD and vinyl so that means that I bought ETIAW three times, aarrrrggghh). So although my dislike of ETIAW still stands, I'm at the point now where I cock my head to the side a bit when I hear PoC and think "hmmm... that's not so bad." Now this makes me wonder what my initial reaction to PoC would have been if they hadn't released ETIAW first.

Maybe so, but my understanding is there are so many things that are different between the show and the comics that you never know (although I haven't actually read any of the comics). On the Talking Dead show afterword, they didn't include Judith in the "In Memoriam" portion, so I'm going to guess she is still alive and Beth has her. However, that wouldn't explain all the blood in the baby carrier. Hopefully we will find out one way or the other when the season resumes in February!

'Fast & Furious' star Paul Walker dies in car accident (CNN) -- Actor Paul Walker, who shot to fame as star of the high-octane street racing franchise "Fast & Furious," died Saturday in a car crash in Southern California. He was 40. Walker's publicist Ame van Iden confirmed his death, but said she could not elaborate beyond statements posted on Walker's official Twitter and Facebook accounts. Walker was a passenger in a friend's car and both were headed to a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide, according to a statement posted on his Facebook page. The website for the charity indicated there was an event in Southern California on Saturday to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The crash took place about 3:30 p.m., about 300 yards from the office park where the event was held. There doesn't seem to be a reference in regard to what the "top 10" refers to. Is it that site's employees' cumulative personal favorites list? Is that what the site thinks were played the most? Purchased the most? The top 10 on the wall that had darts thrown on them? Although it's not my favorite song, I agree with what was already mentioned that it doesn't make sense that VLV isn't on the list. Aside from Clocks, that's the Coldplay song that has permanently infiltrated into the mainstream via numerous "covers" as background music in commercials. It's everywhere. Whatever.

I used to listen to the local "oldies" radio station every morning when I was in school, this is bringing back so many memories.
