I'm still debating between trying to take the tube or taking a taxi from Heathrow to the hostel (even though I have a tiny map of the tube, it still is my very first time). I know people mentioned a taxi would be more expensive, but about how much more expensive would it actually be?

It leaves around 19:00 on Saturday, and after accounting for the time difference I will arrive at Heathrow around 08:00 on Sunday morning. As I mentioned, I will arrive at the hostel before check-in time, so I will probably hang out in one of the lounge areas in the hostel for awhile. I still need to finish reading the Roadie book, so if I haven't yet finished it on the flight then I can continue reading it while I'm waiting. :D

Don't forget your toothbrush. :tongue: But really, how many pieces of luggage are you bringing? I keep thinking of that scene from Spaceballs... "your royal highness' matched luggage". :lol: I don't want to be like that if I can avoid it.

Follow-up question: how many bags of luggage are you bringing? I don't know if I can cram everything into one suitcase... :sick: I'm assuming we need to bring our own shampoo, that's what I'm doing. I'm aslo bringing my own soap just in case. Goodness, I think I'm going to spend all night packing and double-checking everything!

This is probably a weird question but... For those of you who are staying in the hostel, do you plan to do laundry at their facility? Or are you just bringing new clothes for each day? I just want to make sure I pack appropriately.

Not nuts. I don't think I'm spanish. Breakfast is great any time of day. Since she's got bread she could probably make french toast while she's at it.

I just looked at the weather forecast for all of next week, and the average temperatures will be 24C (75F) during the day, and 14C (57F) and night. And on average it looks like only a very small chance of rain. :wacky: Absolutely gorgeous weather!
