  1. :awesome: Glad you asked. As some people noted about the picture in the previous blog, there is a poster on the wall of planets/solar system, as well as some sketches on the white board: Okay, here's my little theory: The planet "theme" doesn't relate to the songs themselves, it's more to represent the general layout of the album. To get a better "visual representation", so to speak, of the format, to keep themselves on track. A sun and some planets. The planets revolve around the sun, as does with an album the songs revolve around one other song/theme (Chris once said that was Trouble on Parachutes, In My Place on AROBTTH, etc.). The "giant" of the solar system is Jupiter; and there's also usually a "giant" song from each LP (Yellow on Parachutes, Clocks on AROBTTH, Fix You on X&Y, and VLV on VLVODAAHF). The other planets have their own characteristics/place in the solar system, as do songs on each LP. So, hence, therefore, thus, alas... I think the "theme" of solar system is just so they can get a better visual representation of each song's role on the album. THAT'S IT. NOTHING MORE. THE END FIN I'M OUT PEACE YO
  2. So I suppose that means there will also be a song called "lounge area" Ummm... no.
  3. I really think people are misinterpreting / making more of the whole solar system thing than it actually is. I mentioned on the previous page that I think I know what the deal is with it, but nobody seemed interested. :disappointed:
  4. Ha ha ha! That looks just like my couch at home! So I guess that means this happens more often than people thought: :D
  5. I think in his last blog when he promised us something special in the following week (when he didn't actually give a blog), I don't think he specifically referred to himself. I think he was referring to the anticipation of the Art History article. But I could be wrong.
  6. So, who all is staying in the 6-bed dorm, and who is staying in the 21-bed dorm?
  7. NumbersGirl replied to NumbersGirl's topic in The Lounge
Thanks! Yay, I joined! I should take a picture of the rear window of my car and post it here (or there)... I have a sticker of "him" on it.
  8. When I'm in a Viva concert mood I just watch their World Stage performance
  9. He grabbed my booty. I kicked his balls as a reflex, and to teach him a lesson. Nobody grabs the junk in my trunk without permission!
  10. And they're going to start sending the randomly-selected signed photographs this week. If anyone on here gets one, please post a pic!

yayyy, you both get gold stars

I'll give a gold star to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.
  13. Can't cure cancer if the world has already ended. I suppose that's not mutually exclusive, though. Just one-way exclusive.
  14. No, but I kicked some once.
  15. Grill memories... I used to work at a jewelry store, and we had a steam cleaner for cleaning customers' jewelry. One day this guy walks in the store and asks if we clean gold, to which I replied, "yes". He proceeds to reach in his mouth and yank out his gold grill and hand it to me. FOR REALZ. That was one of the more memorable moments working at the jewelry store.
  16. Also, plenty of people have "minor" heart attacks and don't even realize it because they barely felt any pain. If heart attack tops that list, there needs to be a big caveat that they are referring to the worst heart attack you can possibly have. The weighted-average pain of all heart attacks would probably bump it down the list a bit, methinks.
  17. So, has He ever gone through childbirth, so as to know that a heart attack is worse?
  18. FYI y'all, you're much more prone to blood clots having a C-section, because it's major surgery and you're not supposed to move much afterward (clots can form in your legs if you don't move them much). As in, the blood clot goes to your lungs or your brain and you die, leaving the dude and/or other family to raise your kid(s) without you. Still relatively rare, but much more common with C-sections versus the "natural" way. Just thought I'd mention it's not a minor procedure, although I realize it has been made out to be over recent years, being thought of as more "convenient".
  19. 71% + 31% > 100% This poll is shit. That means at least 1 in every 100 people polled think that we'll cure cancer after the world ends. Although I suppose maybe they think cancer will be cured by early 2049 and then the world will end in late 2049, or something like that. Allllllrighty then.
  20. Particularly if you need to have an episiotomy. I hear that's awful. It's like, "oh sorry, there's not enough room for your babeh to say hello, so we're going to cut you from your hooha to your bunghole to make room." I cringe just thinking about it.
  21. What does that mean? It's windy?
  22. Awwwww, dudes... lookey what I found! Team Tampon
