Yes, the momma bird fed them; I took these pictures when she was out finding food to upchuck into their mouths. We left them alone, we even tried to avoid using the front door while the nest was there. By the time all of them left the nest, there was so much bird poop on our door that we had to clean up! Our cat went crazy every day watching them from inside the house.

We had that happen on our front door a couple of years ago. The focus is wrong in the first picture, but you can still see most of the birdies. You can see a couple of birdies hanging out of the nest in the second picture; I think they thought I was going to feed them because they kept looking at me and opening their mouths. :lol:

Yes, I remember when I was a kid I had to keep my first one in for a couple of months, and even then had to keep applying witch hazel to it. Ugh. Can you imagine that scene? You're working in a piercing shop, and in walks Mr. Martin. Piercer looks up from twiddling his/her thumbs: "How can I help you sir?" Chris: "Yes, I'd like to get my ear(s) pierced please." Piercer: "Sure, have a seat over there, I'll be right with you." I got such a good deal on it; it was a floor sample that they wanted to get rid of to make room for the new models, so I got it for about 75% off. That's definitely the way to go! No point in paying full price if you don't have to.
