We had thunderstorms in the early morning. One bolt of lightning struck near our house so it was a bit loud at 1:30am. Storms continued until about 6:00am. Don't get me wrong, I love thunderstorms, but I like sleep better (during the weekdays, anyway).

I'm used to it now. The Lounge has it's own "personality", but that's not really a bad thing. And 10 minutes a day in the Lounge is pretty accurate for me.

Maybe they thought EMI would royally screw it up? I assumed EMI marketed it originally, but I guess from this article EMI didn't have much involvement. It's hard to tell. Maybe the band thought they were more in tune with what would work well with marketing (i.e., iTunes for sure).

I understand where you're coming from. I've got a little different perspective in regard to the selfish bit, but I know what you mean. I don't have a burning desire to have kids now, I would be fine if I never had one. But I look at it from the future sense of "regret", because I never want to live with regret. So I think, if I'm 60, would I more regret not having kids, or would I more regret having kids? I think I would more regret not having kids, so I will probably try to have one at some point before my eggs get all dry and crusty. It is selfish (in my case) in the sense that I wouldn't be doing it out of a desire to have a kid, but out of a desire to not have regret in the future. But if I never have a kid, I won't think that I've failed as a human being or anything. Procreation isn't a requirement.

I think after reading the thread thus far, my original inclination of self-titled is moot. This probably isn't the name of a song already, but this came into my head for some reason today: "Bare Bones"

In terms of marketing, I think they are more referring to how to advertise the album, not who released it. And is it just me, or does that dude in the article picture look like a pudgy Jerry Springer?
