Afeather, I know, I'm sorry. I took a couple of pics here at work, but naturally I forgot to bring the adapter for the memory card to upload the pics on my computer. I'll see if someone else here has one, but if not, then it won't be until tonight.

Bummer... the electrical outlets across the pond are completely different than the ones here. So I can't plug it in. :bigcry: I'll have to buy some sort of converter. The drum case that it came in smells like... I don't know, "road". I gagged and chuckled at the same time. And I can't say this enough... thank you Bidder #18, whoever you are, for retracting your bid. ;)

Nope, nothing. I think it may go back to my original theory a few weeks ago, which is that in the U.S. it would be something that you have to declare on your income tax return (as a tax that you haven't paid yet). Even so, I wouldn't have to worry about that for the 2009 tax return due in April, it wouldn't apply until 'next year'. *I foresee a memory lapse next year around this time. :smug:*

OMG that one of Chris pinching Jonny's nose! Hilarious and utterly cute at the same time! Hey, I was watching the A Message 2010 video again earlier, and I noticed a very discreet little detail. After the first time Chris sings 'that bitter breeze', during the pause in lyrics his mouth is hanging open (like, about to drool) as he looks over at Jonny's guitar, then up at Jonny's face, then back down at Jonny's guitar. And during the next camera angle, Jonny is pretty much staring back at Chris. So, not all in one camera shot, but it's there. ;)

Ummm... it just arrived. :dance: And guess who delivered it... DHL. wtf?!?!? :freak: Why did they tell me some company called M-whatever was going to deliver it? I'll post some pics of the package shortly. Yes, PACKAGE ONLY. As I mentioned earlier, I'm going to open it with a couple of people I work with (fellow fans) tomorrow.

^ Afeather, I already e-mailed Gemma to let her know to take that into consideration for anyone in the U.S. who purchased VIVA items to be dispatched after the Latin America tour. I also called DHL again to get a little more info on the third party they passed it off to, and the lady told me it was some company called MTPT, but they didn't have a phone number for it. I couldn't find anything online indicating MTPT exists, so I have no way of contacting them, and DHL isn't tracking it anymore (I don't think), so... Oh, and surprise surprise, nothing is here yet.

Sorry for the multiple updates, but... So, I called DHL, and they said it looks like it is with a third party delivery service now. Which basically means there's no way to track it anymore. Then I search the DHL website for additional info, and I find this: DHL Express U.S. will discontinue all U.S. domestic express and ground services by January 30, 2009. This advanced notice will allow customers to effectively manage through the peak season and provides ample time for them to transition to other providers as required. Holy guacamole, that's a lot of money for import duties. I wouldn't have guessed it would be anywhere near that much. :stunned: No globe yet. So, it was on the truck for 9 hours but didn't manage to make it to my house by 8pm. :thinking: I'll probably call DHL this morning to see if they can give me a better timeframe...

I would just go to sleep so I wouldn't have to think about it. :D Well, 6pm came and went, and still no package. So I called DHL to see if they have better detail other than 'with delivery courier', and the lady said it looked like it was still in route. Apparently they deliver to residences up to 8pm. :stunned: I didn't realize that. So, it might still get here in the next hour or so...
