  1. Gonna torrent them even more. As much as possible. And then give it to anyone I see. Even songs I've already bought and can just give.. I'll torrent them as much as possible. Ridiculous prices in the current climate. I would have paid £40 and been disgusted.
  2. An incredible amount of people who I'm not.
  3. Deserved to die. Let's listen to Dummy by Portishead.
  4. That's what I saw when I was on Radiohead's website this afternoon at work (might have been waste). Didn't mention any additional fees.
  5. £65 a ticket means they can fuck off.
  6. Mine are (amongst others) The Old Mans Back Again by Scott Walker, River Man by Nick Drake and Lime Tree by Bright Eyes. What are yours?
  7. Yes. Which is tragic.
  8. Yes. Human social norms change throughout the eras, never mind throughout the world. Drug use, homosexuality, science, etc etc.
  9. Indeed. And in this financial climate it's not even who you know. It's who you blow.
  10. Or them doing Fitter Happier whilst Thom asphyxi-wanks.
  11. Two philosophical threads and the little ones heads start to explode, one way or the other.
  12. Pull. I'd never dye.
  13. Can I point out I didn't have solipsism at 8. As I said the concept of it fascinated me. It was my earliest delvings into philosophy when I figured I couldn't prove other people weren't robots. But like I said, I didn't believe it past the point of any childhood game like if you are jumping between settee's the floor is made of lava or shark infested waters so you have to avoid it or die. Or you've got to throw the screwed up piece of paper in the bin in five attempts or else the world will end. When I played those games I didn't believe the world would end or I'd get eaten by sharks, etc. it just made it more fun and made me a lot more giddy when I did it.
  14. I'm not convinced it's a conscious thing where people are conditioned to be more 'evil' but I do think our perceptions are being twisted in order to benefit others which leads to questionable acts by all involved, complicit or not.
  15. Interesting indeed. Thanks for that! There was a recent documentary by Horizon on the BBC which I need to watch about psychopaths and the whole nature/nurture thing. I need to watch it.
  16. A true solipsist would never acknowledge another. 7 or 8. So old enough not to take it seriously but still for it to fascinate me.
  17. I used to be fascinated with the fact that I couldn't prove that the rest of the world weren't robots.
  18. Prince Myshkin posted a topic in The Lounge
Did you have it at a child? I often pondered it when I was younger but never actually believed it. I did pretend it was true though on occassion, the same way you'd jump from settee to settee without touching the floor as you had decided it was made of lava or shark infested waters.
  19. They just said on their Facebook that they have finished their second album. Sweet. Why does this thread have so few posts?
