Hi everybody. Due to my own ignorance I don't know French but I am going to Nice in June for ten days. Anybody have recommendations for what I could do? I'm going with my friends family so I can't guarantee I'll be able to do them, but some suggestions would be great anyway. Thank you :)

Yeah, you can't vote for your own, and if you do it doesn't count and everyone you are against gets a point, unless you grovel haha. That'll stop people trying to sneak it, since we are trying to keep each playlist a secret to stop tactical voting. Whoever organises the thread, so in the Radiohead case Mike, and also the playlist maker should be the only people who know which one is theirs. So in this thread Mike will have to keep a beady eye (no we will not be doing a Beady Eye top 15) on the votes.

Just listened to each for the first time. Both are decent, Supercollider more so. Could've shaved a minute off and also could have put it on TKOL haha. Not complaining though. Yeah, fine. Hope The Butcher grows more on me. Seemed a little uneventful. Early days yet.

I think it's more the terminology of 'idol' that's the issue, rather than people saying there is nothing to be learned from people. We can draw inspiration from people, but to idolise somebody is very silly. People change, whether that is the person being idolised or the person idolising. It's just silly to put people in boxes. Let them earn your respect, then let them maintain that respect. If they do then they do, and that's good but don't be surprised if they don't.

Vidic? Referees player of the season maybe. They love him.

Bale PFA player of the year? He's not been that good in the league at all this season. Cracking in the Champs league of course. And he's missed plenty. Thought Scott Parker was a much better shout.
