I can see why. X&Y is the era i dislike most. I find the new stuff irrelevant and nothing new and the earlier stuff hasn't held up as well as other things I have got into over the last decade. But I can certainly see the appeal of Coldplay over some of the other bands mentioned recently in the thread.

I don't like Coldplay. Unfortunately since you like Guns N Roses and Muse I can't take your comment on these things particularly seriously.

So you admit that you patronise people? If so shut up about other people doing it then. And you would think I've been talking to certain people. It would back up your delusions of The Great Conspiracy. How come you never name these certain people? You remind me of Stalin, only without the power. If I had uncovered a conspiracy I'd been attempting to get to rise to the summit of it and even spearhead it, but unfortunately I think you have made the mistake into thinking that people actually care about you.

Haha, you can say that, I don't care. And it doesn't let me down, I'll say it to any fans of those bands around here. I believe them to be watered down completely uninteresting and uninspiring, aimed specifically for the uninteresting and uninspired. How can giving my opinion be letting myself down. Incidentally, listen to Let Down by Radiohead. It is much harder to get into a band when you don't like the singer so that is fair enough.

I only post in areas not specific to Coldplay and only discuss them when somebody mentions them in those places. I joined because I consider Coldplay to have friendly, like minded fans whom I would like to talk to (and I was right).

It's a big market that one. Please dear god tell me that you like New Order then, if you like the eighties electronic sound. It should last around 3 months I think, and then settling in Germany. I want to go to France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Norway, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to all of them considering all the things I want to do in those places. I was in Morocco the other month but that was just for tourism with my sister and her husband and his brother. I was only there for one week but I've never been to a place like it, and now that I'm not at uni I have the time to save up and do something I really want to do. Yes, I am making it a mission to learn a new language fluently. There is no reason why I can't! Do you have any plans to travel? You can do! I look forward to it :) I'm joining a football team for the first time in about 6 years! Going to a training session tonight!

I always feel guilty and arrogant for only really knowing my own language. We had a similar setup. French was compulsory at high school, and then in the third year (of five) the people in the top set had the option to take German as well. Yes, the plan is to move there for a while to conclude the European tour. Maybe get a job teaching English for a year (or less, or longer haha). It all depends on how much I like it. I'm in no rush to return to England though. I don't dislike it but I want to experience some new cultures.
