it is the over instrumentation that worked well in previous albums as it was backed up by good songwriting and provided a nice lush backdrop. now they don't seem to have the good songwriting and are instead pushing forward the tiny details that gave the old songs a fullness and just use that as the main drive. when you listen to it they aren't actually doing anything. it's just a sound of the same notes being repeated over and over with a few effects added. like what u2 do except this is less poppy. as somebody else mentioned a few pages back, anybody could have written this album. it's what happens to a lot of people when they don't have too many ideas and are expected to release an album. the last track gives me hope that they can evolve in the future rather than continuing to devolve. i've listened to it about 4 times now and still can't remember any of the songs except the last one. it all just blurs into about 6 musical notes.

ah good, i thought i had done something wrong well my sister and her husband and his brother have had it arranged for a couple of months but they were talking about it today and said there was room for me and my parents said they would lend me the money! we are going to morocco!

one of them is. but which one? miami?? sounds cool. as does guadalupe. you been to many places then? i've only been to a few. and only sweden outside britain in the last 7 or 8 years :(

i don't expect something vastly different. but when it's a watered down version of the stuff they have already done what's the point? if it was as good as their first two on merit of songs then i had no trouble with them keeping the same style, but it seems like they've taken any negative aspects of their sound which is usually in the backdrop and adds nicely to the song, and pushed those forwards. and yes, i can see arcade fire carrying on watering down and never changing so i will lose interest if they do i would like to hear a techno album from them actually. it isn't implausible. and i don't really like coldplay so bring that up as a defence doesn't work too well since i agree with you.

right, i fucking suck i tried to deliver it. first of all it took me a while to get hold of the materials. then i ran out of money and had to wait for my parents to get back from holiday before i could post it. then it was sunday so it couldn't be posted as it is shut. also originally i thought i had it for two weeks, but then after looking at the rules i saw we are only supposed to have it for one. AND NOW when i tried to post it i was talking to the woman at the post office about what it was and she said the material i used wouldn't be allowed over some borders (clay) so now i'm fucked and i'm gonna have to draw around what i made and colour it in (which i could have done originally if i hadn't decided to try and be cool and actually make something. so i will draw it tonight and post it tomorrow. i'm really sorry guys, i totally dropped the ball. but hopefully this can be a lesson for anybody else thinking of making something out of organic materials. apparently the scrapbook would have been destroyed before going into australia if it had any organic material it in. MASSIVE APOLOGIES

haha, shaved not saved :p i just booked to go to morocco with my sister! she has had it booked for her, her husband and her husbands brother for a few months, but i managed to go with them too now :)

sorry for the delay i just booked a holiday!!!!! yeah, it can be quite scary but i'm sure it will be fine. i had a dream last night that somebody shaved my hair

the first thing is natural. staring is overboard though i guess, but it just happens. flirting is annoying for some people i guess, but if it is just for fun then there's no harm in it (unless you don't like it and then there is harm, or if you think they are trying to take things further by testing the water)

i'd go as far as to say it was poor last track is all there is that's above average. they haven't actually done anything with this album.
