  1. there are plenty of girls who don't do that, but you probably haven't met them because they blend into the background. but yes there are lots who do. i think english people in general enjoy being drunk. i don't know anybody who doesn't drink my age. i'll give it a listen now!
  2. hahaha not all english girls are like that! but yes, the ones you are probably more aware of are the annoying ones. how do you think you differ to english girls then? ignore the stereotype of drunken pregnant whores though  recording an album - that sounds interesting. what is the genre?
  3. yeah i think i struggle to get over the silly side of it of weird creatures and big hairy feet! are there not any people you could meet up with? it seems a shame that you are stuck in the house so often tonight i'm gonna play indoor football on an artificial pitch but it's annoying since it starts at 10pm and ends at 11. such a silly time to play. i do enjoy playing though, even though it's only 5-a-side. other than that no plans. my friends parents have gone on holiday today though so i may go round there tomorrow.
  4. my friend always loses her voice. it's cute  i haven't seen lord of the rings in years. i missed out on all the fantasy stuff like that and harry potter. just never got into it. i remember thinking the scenery for lord of the rings was great though. i just went to bed and had a big lie in! today i tidied the house and just listened to music. listened to serge gainsbourg for the first time in my life. that was quite interesting. now just semi watching the italy match. you up to much today?

  11. the usa chant makes me physically sick
  12. if i don't like this album i won't be too disappointed. they are my favourite band so there is some expectation but post bends they have made pretty much perfect albums and plenty of them but it's bound to dip some day. they've made more amazing albums than any other band imo so they've already surpassed what i deem an acceptable contribution to my music taste by quite a long way. plus bands have dodgy albums then return to form all the time so it wouldn't necessarily be the end, could be a blip. i had this mind set for in rainbows too making it a very pleasant surprise.
  13. they should do a dance album
  14. They are annoying and they haven't been part of their culture until this world cup. everyone is talking about it as though they have had them for a hundred years and there is a deep spiritual side to them. there isn't, they are just a marketing gimmick. on the other hand i have heard that when you are in the stadium they sound a lot better since you can hear the section you are in. the speakers pick up sounds from all over the crowd so it all blurs into one and sounds horrible (also pretty much how the players feel i think being stuck in the middle of them all). you can't beat the sound of the crowd, the chants, the cheers, the raise in volume when an attack builds. vuvuzelas should all be snapped in half and they should concentrate on another side of their culture which has some actual roots. there is so much great african culture to choose from.
  15. hey, i'm really sorry, i missed the feedback. just seen it now. thank you so much for taking the time to listen to it. there isn't an actual bass used on the recordings in the majority of songs and the guitar used cost £30 about 5 years ago haha. only four strings work properly now but it will be replaced this summer for a proper one. as for the clock perhaps it was influenced subconsciously but it wasn't something intentional. i'll give it a listen since i can't remember the acoustic version and if it's really similar it might need dropping/rewriting. we are currently writing new material and are trying to write a few slower songs with less finger picking. fingerpicking s our strong point and we prefer tose songs but we feel we need some balance. we have bought an organ too and are going to write some songs around that. the link on here doesn't work anymore because it reached the download limit so here is a new link. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7XDL3Z6I
