  1. Seriously.
  2. These people need to stay out of my womb. And this is not being highlighted because those people are nuts and this can't go anywhere anyway. As if we don't have enough problems...
  3. Winter's Bone for the win! But I'm bound to be disappointed. Oh, well... I'll contend myself with Colin Firth getting a prize.

I'm not really well versed in musical theory, and for me, appreciating music is completely instinctive. I don't spend a lot of time analyzing why I like and relate to it. Having said that, X&Y is my least favorite of the 4 albums because I personally don't feel much connection to many of the songs on the album aside from a message. The reason why I think I like it less is because I find some of the lyrics a bit simplistic when compared to the others.
  5. In what sense?:inquisitive:
  6. ^:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: Good old Maggie deploying anything remotely sexual will be pure comedy. When it comes to Oscar, I don't expect much.
  7. I read the title of the thread and said to myself: I didn't know Mr. T had a wife.
  8. That stuff just irks me, and it does not have to be an artist I love either, just in general. I sat on the train last week with a lady who decided that the woman next to her was too fat (never mind, she's no model) and so she started insulting her. Even after the woman moved when another seat became available, she followed her to yell at her some more. I have had it at this point, and said, excuse me: she pays taxes and the train ticket just like you. This is not your living room, so could you please spare us all your ignorance, and only the did she shut up. Well, that was a long story, sorry. Anyway, you can state an opinion without name calling and being a jerk about it.
  9. Who do you think supported him for these 30 years? And why is the will of his people not enough?
  10. Poor Chris.:(
  11. :laugh3: where did she file, looney court...:laugh3:
  12. Awesome! But how could the best picture not have best director?
  13. That scene was crazy. Any interesting answers from the director?
  14. Some people like to demean men who marry women that are more or as successful as they are. That writer is just a sexist pig. It's the daily mail so there is no surprise there.
  15. White Material - 9.5/10
  16. I watched Love Actually 3 times after watching this to get the image out of my head. It's so bleak and creepy.
  17. The Middle of the World - 8/10
  18. A "normal" guy would have dressed like Gary Barlow did. Isn't the hat because he's worried about losing his hair? Some vanity there after all.
  19. Chris can't dress to save his life. He's always mis-matched, disheveled, and puts on a tee-shirt when he should be wearing a shirt (for this occasion). No one is asking him to dress like Beckham, hell no. He's above fashion and don't care? Why is he wearing earrings then? He just doesn't like clothes and while that's not a big deal, he looks ridiculous half the time. Fashion is great, and I was always told to put my best foot forward.
  20. You won't be disappointed. It's grim, but brilliantly acted.
  21. Winter's Bone - 10/10; A survivor's tale!
