I know what you mean about changing weather, I go to uni in a t-shirt coz its all sunny and then I come home drenched! arrgh! :angry: AFL is cool! I'm realy only a half-hearted supporter tho... I'll go for either the Power or the Crows. And yes I was happy Collingwood went down as well! :smug: Who do you go for? You dont like the cricket I hope... god I think its like watching grass grow!!! A mate of mine loves it and says the other day 'yeah I watched a whole day of cricket' and I'm like 'ok so how many brain cells did that kill?' (now i guess I can expect abuse if you DO like cricket hey? :P ) Have you heard of Speedstar before? They are a band from up Brissy way, I saw them last year they were absolutely brilliant they were better than MotorAce who they were supporting. They are a bit Coldplay/U2/Radiohead in sound, and admittedly are big Colplay fans. ;)

Yeah Im a bit of a fan of the Finger, although as with Coldplay, it is tragic coz every time they have played in Adelaide I havent been able to go. :cry: So Im counting the days to when Im seeing them like a kid at Christmas! :lol: Are you a fan of any Aussie bands? mmm Frankston... nope I dont have a clue! My cousin used to be a Melbournite but I havent been there in years. Do you know Adelaide at all? well Adelaide is cool... like LITERALLY!!!! Its been absolutely freezing - where has the warm spring sunshine gone? Apart from that its same as usual... nice place to live but nothing much exciting going on! :) and besides Im a bit busy at uni at the moment so probably wouldnt notice even if anything did happen (which is unlikely in Adelaide anyway!!!! ;) )

Hey people I'm a newbie as well hailing from down under. Man coldplay are getting massive down here Rush of Blood has been keeping on getting up to the top of the charts even recently. :D I first heard Coldplay back when Yellow came out and I've been a massive fan ever since. Fav coldplay songs would be... erm lets think -Politik -GPASOYF -Shiver -Brothers and sisters -I Ran Away -Amsterdam well thats just a few! Other bands I like ... Radiohead, Powderfinger, U2, The Strokes, Pink Floyd, Delirious, Idlewild, Red Hot Chilli Peppers ... just to name a few In the time when Im not working or studying you'll probably find me doing stuff with my band (yes I am another tryhard muso ;) ) . I heard song by a new band called Elbow and they sounded just like Coldplay. Yeah if you want to listen to Radiohead I'd say start with 'the Bends' it is the easiest to get into, and OK Computer is also pure class. I love Radiohead (am an obsessive fan) but I can understand why other people dont get them. Still they are one of the most creative band in the world so even if people dont like them they still deserve some respect. The[aussie]Scientist
