Where, in either of my previous posts have I laid claim to this thread? And what difference does that make at all anyway, a question is a question. I'm pretty sure you can answer a simple question.

I think its retarded when people say Gordon Brown has fucked up the Labour party. Blair jumped ship right before the whole economic crisis. People moan that Brown has only made things worse when things could be alot worse if it weren;t for some of the decisions he has taken. Of course he's not glamourous in the slightest but i'd prefer a drab minger who is dedicated and competent in his job to someone who is distracted by an abnormal focus on image. The economic crisis was not Gordon Browns fault, people were/are going to lose their jobs or find it hard, whether Brown was there or not. Voting in David Cameron and the Tories isn't going to result in an instant prosperity and a flurry of financial security. Those things are all going to take time to come. Now i'm obviously not a Labour voter or a supporter of the party but I just think that's it's asinine when people deride Gordon Brown, who on the whole, hasn't been doing badly at all.

I just think it's the disbelief that me and some other people feel that you're actually educated to that degree, yet you conduct yourself in such an appalling manner. I suppose it's just a bit of a disappointment that someone who (apparently) is as well qualified as yourself can't actually string together a coherent argument or sentence.

If he's already decided to shut the place down and his mind's made up then that's his decision, it's something that needs to be respected and acknowledged. If he wants to disappoint a forum of people then that's his choice. The members here will find other forums and in time move on and forget, adapt and overcome. Some people will believe it's the end of the world and that this site is their lives, no it's not, it's one part, one specific time in your lives and like most things, it will come to an end sooner or later, either through the closing down of the site or through the course of time where you join the real world or move onto something different. The people you meet here in 99% of cases, will not be the same people you know or whom you will share life's most important and life-changing events. Maybe this site's time has come. Maybe it will keep going. Whatever happens, it's not the end of anyones lives and it's not going to have a significant impact on the majority of people's lives within their life-time.
