But you have to trust your current opinion otherwise you wouldn't have that opinion. True ... but what basis do you have for trusting your opinion?

Travis
I saw something about Travis coming to San Diego at the end of January. I hope I'll be able to get tickets when/if they go on sale. The theater they're going to be playing in is walking distance from my house. Vanessa! Fly out and see them with me :P

For Discussion: My Albums of 2003
OK ... so for those of you who are still interested ... ... I listened to HTTT and Elephant again today ... ... and I'm thinking of flipping them. Argh! It's so close. Why did people like each of these albums? If you heard both, when distiguishing qualities determined your preference. No, I'm not trolling to keep the thread alive ... ... much.

Orlando vs. Viggo
Anna Kournikova, Hilary Duff ... any young piece of eye candy Julia Roberts is to whom I was attempting to refer.

Gaming Systems
Thanks for the feedback Avrilboy! :) I think what I'm most interested in playing is sports games and RPGs. Also, I could use another DVD player, so that would help.

Orlando vs. Viggo
I'm really curious as to ... a.) whether people prefer Orlando Bloom to Viggo Mortensen, and ... b.) if yes, why? There's a bigger issue in my mind here: Why would women prefer a Justin/Orlando to a Viggo/Tom? Why would men prefer an Anna/Hilary to a Julia/Naomi Watts? And obviously not everybody prefers the younger. I've always thought an older woman was more attractive ... part of the reason i need help answering this question.

Linux help!
FYI, Google also has a search engine which scans usenet posts ... that's always help on such issues. My knowledge of Linuz intallation would not have been of use. I've only installed Red Hat on a couple of systems and it went smoothly each time.

Sexiest song you've EVER heard
^ Too bad I can't think of anything right now. Perhaps I'm becoming a non-sexual entity.

What do you want? An apology? Ok, I apologize that DNA is not more important in my day-to-day life.- The best and worst of 2003's singles

Exactly, polls alone are completely pointless, what does it matter what the majority believes? does it really have any effect on your life? Unless of course you want to bring politics in on it. Just because something doesn't have an effec ton my like doesn't mean it's pointless. James Watson and Francis Crick discovered the strucutre of DNA. Does that effect my life? Not really. My life would pretty much be the same without that discovery ... at least, those aspects of my life I care about most. That doesn't mean it's pointless. Some endeavours are important for their own sake, and this poll seems like it was intended to be like that ... ,,, but then if the person running the site is influencing the result ... well, we have a term for that in Political Science courses: An Iraqi election. How dare you say that the discovery of DNA does not affect your life! I am appalled! :stunned: You're just trying to pick a fight Gaby. I refuse to fight you. I don't want to hurt you.- No Doubt over Muse??? Plz vote at T170.com
