  1. i got another reason that you might not know how to figure what i saying and if the material's immaterial then i'll tell you i'm playing but on the block we used to clock like marvin gaye and the bitches seeking riches dressed like tammy faye
  2. Eric, I can't promise you any substitutes - It's just me.
  3. "Now I know this might seem strange, But let me know if I'm out-of-order for stepping to you this way. See I've been watching you for a while, And I just want to let you know that I'm really digging your style."
  4. "You are one in a million, And I love you so. Let's watch the flower grow."
  5. Not really. For two posts I did Jay-Z.
  6. "Make believing We're together And I'm sheltered By your heart But in and outside I turn to water Like a teardrop In your palm."
  7. I originally thought this thread wsa about the Radiohead song "Idioteque," but appearantly it was just another cry for attention. Consequently, I ended up quoting Radiohead lyrics, which (as these threads are apt to do) digressed.
  8. "(Don't) let somebody get under (your) skin ..."
  9. "I know what I know. I'll say what I say. Things come and they go. That's the thing I keep in the bad of my head."
  10. "Arrest this man He talks in math He buzzes like a fridge He's like a detuned radio."
  11. V: The Travis thread might be invaded soon. Don't just stand there watching it happening.
  12. Arby's used to have milkshakes like that. You had your choice of adding Oreos, Butterfingers, Reeses cups or Snickers.
  13. OK ... this isn't a Travis song, but it's appropriate: "She's coming over We'll go out walking Make the call on the way. She's in the phone booth now I'm looking in. There comes a smile on her face. Let's do some of the same stuff we got yesterday. Let's do some of the same stuff we got yesterday. ... I love my drug buddy. My drug ... My drug buddy. I'm too lost with myself. I wanna be someone else. I'm too lost with myself. I wanna be someone else."
  14. I have enough people doing that. But I just didn't feel like spending >$2 there when I could just get a milkshake for less. Apparently, milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard. I wish I knew what the inverse of a milkshake was: maybe it would attract women.
  15. "Read (about Noni's drug use) in the headlines ..."
  16. "Don't need an invitation, To drop in on any (thread)"
  17. In this sense, I do ... because I know that ... "The grass is always greener on the other side."
  18. Yeah, that's too much. There's a McDonald's down the street I never go to, but I was goign to take some change and get one it it was around $2 ... which it's not.
  19. "(But) I wanna stay here Indefinitely."
  20. Oh no! Must protect the Travis thread!
  21. Hmmmm ... how much do those things cost?
  22. "Hey ma, your dude is back Laid back groove is back Tell the how world the truth is back You don't have to argue about who can rap Because the proof is back Just go through my raps."
  23. Is that the grilled one?
  24. "They say they never really miss you 'til you're dead or you're gone, So one that note I'm leavin' after this song. So you don't have to feel no way about Jay, so long. But first let me tell you why I'm this way, hold on. I was conceived by Gloria Carter and Angus Reeves Who made love under the sycamore tree, which make me A more syca MC than my momma would claim. At ten pounds when I was born I didn't give her no pain. But all through the years I gave her her fair share. I gave her her first real scare. I make it from birth and I got here."
  25. It's alright, Vanessa. Just follow the light. And don't be afraid of the dark. In the moonlight we'll dance until we fall, And you'll always be here in my heart.
