Oh, I wasn't totally serious when i said that. Like, of course timbaland can like radiohead, coldplay, or any other band. But yea, actually I do think that there is an IQ requirement to understand radiohead's art, you know? But there are totally dumb persons (Thom, for instance) that like radiohead.. so... i dunno. Oh, I can understand that. Not sure if I agree with it: I've never thought about it much. But Radiohead's music isn't completely accessable and I guess you need to have a certain level of music literacy to understand where it's going. Of course, that's not to say you'll automatically like it if you do understand it.

Re: smashing pumpkins anyone...? Why yes, in fact, I do. I also liked James Iha's solo album and Zwan. I would say, if you're just getting started with the Pumpkins you'd want to get Siamese Dream. It's their most "solid" album. The songs there are the most accessible. If you ever get deep into the Pumpkins you may prefer either their first album, Gish, or their double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. In my experience, fans tend to divide at their preference for raw sound or ambitious songs. Goot start. Very nice! I would recommend Cherub Rock, too.

i switched my status back to hidden. i had it on hidden earlier this week, then somebody convinced me to switch it back to visible (which I'll do now), but i'm still debating its virtues, especially during the middle of the days when i'm just checking in on my PMs from work. nothing much is up with me. busy with work, some other things going on occupying my time, but it's nothing a big boy can't deal with :) it seems like there's a lot of stuff on my plate right now, so i'm trying to maintain some perspective. other than that, just trying to get these programs written. ok ... gotz to go unhidden.
