  1. That was a great moment ... really groundbreaking for the RW ... but overall I didn't like Miami. I like Seattle a lot, but I know other peopole didn't like that one. I've watched the entirety of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Paris and ... ... I now realize that my life is a sad, sad thing. Beer, please.
  2. what is she referring to by her milkshake? i don't quite get it. p.s. that song blows "Milkshake" can be anything that attracts a guy and rarely refers to just one thing.
  3. Do the people have to be alive now?
  4. The Seinfeld episode where Jamie Gertz players Jerry's love interest.
  5. Two more days! Two more days! But tonight, I get to go see Ted Leo. And I found out tickets to Coachella go on sale in two weeks. EEK!
  6. Blangy, you going to the Cd. de México concert?, I think it's in Palacio de los Deportes, hope you have fun man :D :D Hey rf_ucsd, first I hope to get the ticket, but no doubt after the concert we have to go the Gaslamp Quarter :D :D , so hope to see you there man, i'll PM you man, coldplayers representingg   Actually, the venue is basically in the Gaslamp.
  7. Inivitng Ghandi to dinner is really funny to me. At elast you don't have to worry about an extravagant bill.
  8. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ... ok. I'm always torn as to these types of conversations. I don't think it's the best thing in the world to talk about women in terms of boobs and butts or even faces ... ... but it might be better just to be honest about those things, talk about them in the open so the whole thing is less scandalous or taboo.
  9. JCF is one of my faves, too ... I'm watching the Clijsters/Schnyder match now ... I don't get Clijsters-Hewitt, but it's not really my business. It's been a really good tournee this year down there.
  10. that does not sound fun. i don't think i have bacteria in my blood. i have ethanol.
  11. I watched half of the first set before having to do something else ... to me, it looked like Federer was determined to get Nalbandian off his back. He'd never beaten Nalbandian in a big match before ... ... but I was also kind of rooting for David because most casual tennis fans don't realize how good he is. But he had a great showing in Melbourne. Well see if he can keep it up moving forward this year.
  12. I didn't see what the big thing was about CT. He didn't really do anything to anybody ... it just seemed people got annoyed with him. I found Leah about 112x more annoying than CT. Leah and CT both are on the next RW/RR challenge ... as are Ace and Mallory. I'm looking forward to that.
  13. I've just had a bad day working on a project that keeps developing problems. Somedays I wish I was in Africa helping people rather than smuggly plugging away at this keyboard. I just felt like shet all day ... just let everything get to me. I'm normally very laid back, but today I felt like I was one bad stretch away from a meltdown. I wish I could find something to make me feel better.
  14. agreed about mallory. yeah, i saw every episode of the RW-Paris, usually catching them on the weekends. Mallory was cool, as was Ace. I liked CT; hated Leah. Simon was never around, and I thought Adam was pure comedy. Christina was just kind of there ... kind of lame, but nothing special. I can't really say what my favorite Real World is, but I thought the whole Alton/Irulan thing during the Las Vegas year was really cool.
  15. i admit to liking a girl with ... ... oh, who am i kidding. i'm not picky about what i can see. i'm more concerned with that which i can't see.
  16. i watched the first season of survivor and thought it was really interesting. i haven't watched since: i just didn't see where survivor could go from there. do you really need to watch more than one season of survivor? maybe people say the same thing about the real world.
  17. You and me both, kiddo. What up with you?
  18. Hi, Julia. Did Nalbandian beat Federer?
  19. so ... let me get this straight ... ... a girl you liked had a night of ice cream and you don't like her anymore? ah well. what are you gonna do?
  20. battle of the sexes was so good, and i thought the gauntlet was merely ok compared to it. the next one (inferno) looks interesting. i dunno ... i don't want a lot of reality tv, but i find those shows entertaining. i know those real worlders had quite an effect on san diego.
  21. Thanks! I appreciate it ... ... but my day has gotten worse and worse. This is one of the worst days I've had in a long time. I just feel wrong today.
  22. I like some of the reality shoes on MTV. I like Real World and Road Rules, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and some others. But I agree with you: moderation is the key, but lok at it from their point of view: What incentive do they really have to switch from their current format?
  23. But this isn't exactly new. Shouldn't people be used to it? Why shuld we keep going to the "Music is in their title" card? They do reality programming. They get big ratings. We must deal. If MTV played videos I wouldn't watch it more than I do now. Videos aren't a significant part of my music intake.
