  1. I have to disagree. I mean, lots of artists end up doing similar things in live shows simply because there are no endless possibilities. Most bands or solo artists try to add as much as they can to it to make it interesting and original, but some way or another there's something that someone has done before and I don't consider that a "rip off" as you call it. Take for example the latest U2 tour if you want to compare, they have the stage in the middle of the arenas/stadiums. They are not the first, and will not be the last band to have that, I'm sure. However, I wouldn't say that they're trying to copy someone else. Lots of bands have fireworks and such, gosh even N'sync and all those talent show bands had that and people will still use it in the future. There are balloons, confetti (which by the way don't fall over 5% of the crowd, let me tell you) and a c-stage. If someone tomorrow uses them, nobody will say it's a rip off (unless, they are yellow balloons and butterfly-shaped confetti) because it has surely been used before, by someone somewhere! Using the same argument I could say that U2 360º tour stage is a rip off of Backstreet Boys' Millennium tour stage because they have the stage in the middle. They just added some things :dozey: or La Renga's show. edit: what do you mean they also "rip off" the "setlist"? how? I don't understand.
  3. I don't think she will...maybe she doesn't even know.
  4. I had to do it :shy: it was too tempting...
  5. Don't feel guilty, I agree with what you say. If they were so bothered by people going there, they wouldn't have moved there in the first place considering the Bakery is just down the street and they knew, by the time they moved to the Beehive, that their fans knew where it was. Honestly, I don't know what happened, but you shouldn't feel guilty, you were respectful.
  6. LOL ^^ then there's no way the bands don't know if their songs sound similar, considering they have/had the same producer.
  7. The strings sound similar. The two songs were produced by Brian Eno, right? maybe that's why? Anyways, I don't think they care so much cuz it's U2.
  8. shhhh! Brooke, it was his secret! :laugh3::laugh3:

  11. :surprised: but Winter was left out from No line on the Horizon (2009) that is after Viva La Vida. edit: and I don't think they care.
  12. maybe they want people to think they moved so fans stop going there? either way: :bigcry:
  13. I don't think they'd make a big deal of it, if they did. Maybe settle the issue privately? but this one isn't so notorious. "When love takes over" is for example. Even my sister (who can't stand coldplay music for too long) told me "hey, that's Coldplay's song". However, when asked, the oracle said they were not the same, therefore, there hadn't been a breach of copyright. I don't know
  14. :bigcry: :bigcry: noooo! maybe it was the building next door?
  15. I couldn't care less about her, but I have to say I found them similar, but i don't think it's the same. meh! :P
