Now that I think about it, I did kind of mean for it to be funny, so it's all good!

DUDE NASA KNOWS WHAT JUPITER SOUNDS LIKE FROM SPACE
I don't know...I found it amusing because at first the sound reminded me of some of the background colouring on many of the songs on VLVODAAHF.

Which VLV music video do you like more?
Now that I think about it, I like them both. The original was more upbeat, and the alternate was more relevant. However, I personally think that they should have filmed a full-length version of the iTunes promo video. All the smoke and bright colors and BA lighting...it was so fantastical and it just felt right for the song, you know? Both the original and the alternate kind of pale in comparison to that iTunes video. :\

Has Coldplay helped you in anyway?x
I recently saw a couple of comments on Coldplay videos on YouTube. One said, "What is it about Coldplay that makes me so unbelievably happy?" Another comment by a different user went into detail about how she and her friend danced around the campfire to Coldplay songs, then stated at the end "This is why Coldplay is LIFE!" I couldn't have said it better than these people. Coldplay is LIFE. Their music surpasses anything I've ever heard before. Chris, Guy, Will, and Jonny are all awesome people...the kind of people you want to be friends with and hang out with all the time. Their music has provided me with inspiration in almost every aspect of my life, and it has helped to lift my spirits through everyday low points. Something about their music makes me happy...like a kind of in-your-soul happy...joy. I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say it again: Coldplay is LIFE!

I'm sure! I can only imagine...the thumping beat of Viva la Vida, the crowd of people jumping in unison, the light's flashing, the band rocking...everyone's just having a ton of fun! I need to see them next time they come to my area.

I was a huge Switchfoot fan for about a year. I'm still a fan, but I like Coldplay better now. Never seen either live, though, to my regret.

That's the only stuff I listened to for a long time. Not that there's anything wrong with it; I love it. It's my roots. It's where I come from.

Very nice! Very Chris-Martin-like!

Okay, this one's not as good as Flyleaf, but it's okay. It's called Salvation, at least for now, and it rhymes better: It's hard to take a moment When you're burning up inside, Every day's another letdown, I want to run and hide, Take me up, Lord, lead me home, Tonight. Change comes easily When you put the old behind, And that's not hard to do When salvation's on your mind, If you're tired of this life Of iniquity and strife, I think it's time to redefine Ourselves and all we call our own. All this time I've wasted, Searching for the road To a perfect existence, But He's the One Who saved my soul, So take this broken man and lead him home Tonight. Change comes easily When you put the old behind, And that's not hard to do When salvation's on your mind, If you're tired of this life Of iniquity and strife, I think it's time to redefine Ourselves and all we call our own. I'm great at writing music, though. Both of these songs sound really cool. Lyrics are just my weak point.

Yeah, I'm not to the point where I can write good lyrics that rhyme. I'm just glad I wrote lyrics that actually made sense.

Well, they're a little rough. The song that came to me, Flyleaf, has these lyrics: I was born a blank white canvas, Primed and ready, For the Artist to do his great work on me. I look around and see the heartache, That this world has in store for all of us Why can't we see? It's all about eternity. I'm breaking the mold the world made for me, I'm taking off on the last flight. I've got love written on the flyleaf of my heart, I've got grace tattooed on my forehead, Things that I can never shake, Love written on the flyleaf of my heart, I've got everything I've ever wanted, and then some. On the first page we found love, On the second we made a promise, On the third we followed through With the plans that we were making. It's hard to say, "I'll never leave you Nor forsake you." When it's obvious how flawed we really are. We're making a brand new life for us, We're taking off on the last flight. We've got stars written on the flyleaf of our hearts, We've got innocence tattooed on our foreheads, Things that we can never start, Stars written on the flyleaf of our hearts, We've got everything we've ever wanted, and then some. I can post the lyrics to my other song if you want, but they're not nearly as good as these. They're very Switchfoot-esque, because I wrote both songs before I became a die-hard Coldplay fan.

Dude...I'm jealous. A Macbook is the computer I want. :\ I just have to save for a while.

Yeah, I used to have the same problem. I wrote the music for a great song but only wrote the lyrics for the chorus. Then something changed. BOOM! I suddenly could write lyrics. Heck, once a really good song came to me out of nowhere while I was walking down the street and I wrote it down, lyrics and all in about 15 minutes. So, inspiration is a weird thing.

PC...that's why I can't do it. :computer: I would very much like to get a Mac, though.

I would make a digital version in some music-making software and upload it tomorrow if I could, but I don't have any good software so it would sound like junk. I just have sheet music for it written.

That's pretty sweet. I have a few ideas for songs...and I even wrote a really really good song today but have yet to write lyrics, and I don't have a name for it.

Okay. Well, just thought I'd throw it out there. Actually, I'm glad, because I wrote an orchestral & piano song by the name of London Sky, and now I'll be able to keep the name!

Band name is undecided at this point, :\ But genre would be...Coldplay! (Probably VLVoD&AHF-type stuff) They're a huge inspiration for me, and I plan to start a band in the next month or two. I'm writing songs to build up our repertoire.

That's a pretty sweet name. I like the alliteration. But if you end up using London Sky, credit would be greatly appreciated. :D
