  1. Everything's not Lost and Reign of Love are both ridiculous titles (in my opinion) but awesome songs, so we'll see.
  2. Still need a few more answers. :)
  3. Hartroc replied to a post in a topic in Coldplay
I dreamed that I went to a glastonbury festival featuring Coldplay an U2. I didn't want to wake up. :D First ever Coldplay dream, by the way.
  4. My thoughts exactly. Hopefully, it's all a big joke.
  5. Thanks so far everyone. I'm seeing some variations from person to person, but some patterns as well.
  6. I want some songs I can dance to. The Killers style. And better lyrics.
  7. Thanks for the help so far. Any others? :)
  8. See, their capable of it. :3
  9. Parachutes (song) for the win. 'Nuff said.
  10. I think Coldplay are defenitely capable of it, they just need to stretch a bit. Not a bad thing, because you only become better if you push yourself. If you remain in your "comfort zone," you'll never get stronger.
  11. Some real rockers would be nice. My dad complains that Coldplay's music is all too mellow...that you can't dance or rock out to their music. Lol
  12. So, I'm doing a school project on what makes a good song. Part of the project involves getting a bunch of people's opinions about what makes a good song, and a writing a paper that details the results. I know why Coldplay is one of my favorites...but why do you like them? I want to know what you guys think. So, please post a reply including the following; 1: What is your favorite song? (Doesn't necessarily have to be Coldplay) 2: Why? 3: In your opinion, what makes a good song? If you could help, it would be much, much appreciated. Thanks. ~ Hartroc
  13. I think I'm going to like it, but it's going to fall just a tad short. Hope I'm wrong. Keeping my fingers crossed for Chris's best lyrics yet, though. As a melodist, he's pretty much already reached perfection. Edit: I hope they mix the tracks in a way that we can actually hear Guy. :P
  14. I'm seriously worried about this new album. These song titles are scaring me. Haters already think that we (the guys, at least) are gay or emo for listening to Coldplay...imagine what they'll say when they hear about "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall." I can only pray I'll be proven wrong, but I'm thinking I'm not going to like this album.
  15. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall is a TERRIBLE title. I have a feeling this album isn't going to be...I don't know...It's just, the haters already think we're gay because we listen to Coldplay...Think of what they'll say when they hear about "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall." Man, I'm worried. And for the record, the only really cheesy Coldplay song names I can think of off the top of my head are "Reign of Love" and "Everything's Not Lost." The rest aren't that bad.
  16. Why would we be offended? If anyone, Coldplay should be. But just because a title isn't macho doesn't make it bad. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Think of Reign of Love, Everything's Not Lost, etc.
  17. Moments _____ DOES make sense, actually. It can be used in ways such as... Moments Forgotten Moments Remembered Moments Lost Moments Made Etc, etc.
  18. Coldplay U2 Radiohead The Killers Muse :)
  19. Lovers in Japan. :) "...tidal wave..."
  20. Had to... :P
  21. Let me fix that for you. :) :smug:
