  1. My Bloody Valentine. Arcade Fire later this year. Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Knife, possibly The National... Yeah...This'll be a good year.
  2. YOU GUYS. http://www.billboard.com/news/my-bloody-valentine-s-loveless-follow-up-1008004212.story#/news/my-bloody-valentine-s-loveless-follow-up-1008004212.story

  4. So...Lazuli is amazing. I think we can all agree on that.
  5. The xx, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Jack White and Beach House at the moment.
  6. Those are some sweet photos.
  7. Listening now. Loving Bait and Switch.
  8. Anyone else stoked for Port of Morrow?!
  9. OK Computer...bland? :stunned:
  10. You can't be a hipster and listen to Coldplay. :laugh3:
  11. Wait...I've been gone for awhile, where did this "The Man Who Swears" thing come from?
  12. You don't need a playlist. Just listen to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot until its genius hits you. And it will.

    Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah.
  14. I'm no Britney fan, but Toxic will always be amazing. Fortunately, I don't actually have to give her any of the credit for the song. All the props go to Bloodshy & Avant for their songwriting/production chops.
  15. Video Games is amazing. But it's not #1. And the rest of that list is ridiculous.
  16. MX is full of consistently good songs. The problem is, it isn't full of consistently great songs. My two cents.
  17. Hot Fuss - An ingenious first half (up to "All These Things...") followed by second half of pure garbage. The Strokes-y "Change Your Mind" is the only exception for me. Sam's Town - My favorite Killers album, though I admit that it does have some filler as well ("Why I Do I Keep Counting," "My List"). "Sam's Town," "Read My Mind" and "When You Were Young" are obvious standouts here. Day & Age - Can't say I love this one. "Human" is brilliant, and I fully enjoy "Spaceman," "Joy Ride" and "Losing Touch," but overall...let's just say it's not on my list. :P Sawdust - Haven't really listened enough to comment, though I do love Sweet Talk. Oh, and that Joy Division cover is bloody terrible.
  18. Going back to Adele...I cannot deny that 21 has some killer singles. Someone Like You is probably one of my favorite songs of the year, and Rolling in the Deep and Set Fire to the Rain are brilliant as well. That said...the rest of the album is incredibly boring. And three great songs do little, if anything, to redeem an album so full of filler. Definitely doesn't make my list.
  19. Um...have you heard In Rainbows? XD
  20. ...Are you insane? Rococo over Ready to Start and We Used to Wait? ... ...Yup. Definitely insane.
  21. I totally agree that Youth Lagoon should be higher. I think it's in my top ten.
  22. Don't Let it Break Your Heart is almost a shoegaze track (almost) and it's amazing. Definitely one of the best cuts on the album.
