I ask anyone who has met the band more than once... But, will my 2nd meeting with them (assuming that happens :P ), be as good as my first? I guess after the excitement of my first time, and with my chat with Chris lasting soo long, I just doubt it unfortunately :( Anyone met them more than once? How was it...? Well, I'm in a strange category of the fans that have been mentioned here then. I only became a fan of Coldplay in about July/August 2008 :'( ... and VLVODAAHF just blew my mind back then. Even today, if I listen from LiT all the way through, it is a wonderful journey and there are some powerful things in there, like Lovers in Japan which I loooove ;) ... but, I kind of feel that the journey is a little bit short. I feel it is all flowery and colourful, but lacks integrity, and lacks emotion. I hear no cries from Chris to fall for, I hear no distinct progressions this time. And I hear no freakin ballads!!! The Viva-era was superb, the only era I have first hand experience of, but even now, even after falling so far for LP4, and it making me discover my favourite ever band... I still prefer the previous albums by a long way. And I can say that without the bias of actually feeling the hype and stuff from living through the viva times. Head on forward and discover new sounds guys, but please, seriously, give us a taste of the old. We know you still have it in the locker, we know it is not all about album-sales and just-getting-bigger for you guys in your hearts. Tell EMI to go fu-ck themselves, and do what you know you are capable of, and "take us back to the start" :'))) Wow, what a deeeeeep thing to write haha, apologies if that sent you into depression or something :P

I became a fan from Viva, but to be completely honest, I have grown to like everything else much more. They have no ballads on this album, nothing deep, nothing that means something to me, and its just a little bland 2 years on... whereas the previous 3 are magical x number of years on. Lovers in Japan get's me every time, one of the greatest things Ive ever heard, but the rest of the record leaves me wanting too much more. :( ^^Gosh I feel bad saying that, I really do.

TIt is just fantastisk, the most perfect tattoo I've ever seen, so pretty! :stunned: I'm gonna get 15th June, cause that was the day I met Coldplay, and the day that changed so much for me. Argh, why is there still confusion over this?! :angry: Listen to this stuff, listen to how sh-it it is, Plan B was the best they could think up at the time. So, they put that out first, and that even had me thinking twice. But everything since has been absolutely terrible, to the extent where it is insulting to say that it is work of Chris! The guy in these songs CANNOT play the piano. Anyone else on here who CAN play will agree with me 1000% I am certain. He is so far out of time that he just doesn't know when to hit the next key, it's hilarious to be completely honest! It's the most unoriginal toss I've ever listened to, and I'm shocked that people are falling for it! ...that is all. :dozey:

I've had a handful of other Coldplay dreams to this, including a private one on one piano and songwriting tutorial with Chris and also me and Guy got married!!! And believe me, I'm straight, but... well... when it comes to Chris and Guy... But this one, well this was just nuts!... Ok... I'm in Brazil (never been in my life, dunno what the hell I'm doing there!), watching TV (why not?), then up comes this huge newsflash (conveniently in English), it says the Police are searching the whole country for the "On-the-run, Coldplay"!!! I and my friend Trevor, (who isnt even a Coldplay fan) run straight outside to the street in the crazy belief that Brazil is like some tiny little village, and they might happen to be on the run, on our street! We find a police station and we go inside and are talking to this lovely female detective with the Brazilian police, she says that the whole force are on the case, and are trying to find Coldplay! - They are apparently touring the pubs and bars of Brazil doing concerts to like 10's of people only (still dunno where the crime in all this is haha!) Anyway, me and my friend are at the other side of the room trying to listen to phone conversations from the police, and I look to the detective again, and she is looking out of her window and her mouth is like wide open, she cannot believe what she is seeing! I scurry over to her, and look in the same direction as she is looking, OMFG Its them! They are playing in the bar across the road, they are all Viva'd up in the outfits, and Chris is on the wooden floor in this bar jumping around, while the rest are playing on the tiny stage thing, all amp'd up and plugged in too! - There is only like 9 people watching them in this bar too! So, I run to the door and across the street, and they are gone !!! I look at the road on the other side of the bar, and they are walking down the street still playing, and a crowd is gathering, I run down the street and then hudreds of policia (?) come racing past me and they surround the boys They arrest them and throw them in a police van... and... thats it... I wake up I almost cried at how crap that dream finished off
