Yeh I know, it's just a fact of life that these things happen, and it's not their fault. Why would they deliberately want to piss off the fans? Doesn't make any sense. And yes there are some idiots on the forums, but there are some really cool people on it too. You kinda have to learn to ignore the fools! I think a number of them are just trolling too. Bored and trying to get a reaction out of people. That might be why it seems like people aren't defending Damon or Jamie. I think people are just used to it and it's more effective to ignore it. That's my reading of it most of the time anyway.

It's true, the whole Uk and Ireland tour was changed from October to November without any notice and ticketmaster are not the best at refunds apparently. I think the Scottish and one of the English ones were cancelled altogher. The one I'm going to was rescheduled too. I'm lucky that it didn't make any difference though! I think the change was to accomodate the US leg of the tour. A number of people had spent a lot of money on travel and accomodation, because they were coming from abroad and had lost so much money as well.

Yeh, I've never listened to Leisure in full, so I'm gonna do that! I know she interviewed Damon as well anyway. I don't think I've seen the Alex or Dave ones though. I love the way Graham just says "you're weird" at the end of the interview! Hilarious and so cute!

That is a stunning picture of Graham. He is adorable. I watched that interview he did last night for the great escape with a drag queen who kept calling him cheryl. He was very drunk and kept showing her his funny faces. He's just so cute! MMMMmmm, Damon's ass...! I can't really hear a huge change in Damon's voice to be honest - at least from a deep point of view. Like his voice is pretty deep in The Universal and even in There's no other way. I must listen again and pay more attention!

Yeh Cass is amazing too. I think he's the nearest thing to a third Gorilla. He's been with them from the very start. He's an amazing drummer too. His Glastonbury performance gave me goosebumps, and I'm not very observant about drums usually. That's so funny about Damon and youtube. I didn't know about that at all! I follow Graham on twitter too. His tweets are often obscure! Love it!

Do it, Lizzy! I bought one recently. Totally inspired by Damon. I play the piano and it is so handy and portable. I love it. They aren't too expensive either. I love playing along with Blur songs, esp tender, beetlebum, Battery in your leg and charmless man is a lot of fun. I just strum along on the guitar though - nothing too complicated.

Oh shit! Should have updated this thread. There's a discussion (and pics) in the Damon Albarn thread. Apparantly, the Sun is the only place where it says that they performed so I'm confused. It'd be great if it's true. They definitely deserved this award. And welcome!!
