Oh shit! I've really been neglecting this place recently! Damn I'm squealing over here!! I can't believe she was so lucky! She met so many people, and Damon looks unbelievably gorgeous in her pics. And Cass :wink3:. Dayum. I really want to meet them!!! Did Paul steal Damon's sweater? :laugh3: And YAAAAY Shani!! I feel the same as you though. I'm trying my best to keep my excitement in check. I'm really uneasy about it in case it's cancelled or something. I would be devestated. It's really hard not to be excited though.

Yaaay! The first album I listened to was Demon Days. I'd really liked the singles, but I really wasn't expecting to like it tbh. It completely blew me away. Very few albums have done that. I was smitten right away! I was in love with PB from the first listen too.

Didn't he write Northern Whale around the time that whale came up the thames. I think it died. It was a bit enough story at the time. I think it's a love song to her inspired by that. Aww, that is so shit. I feel awful for her.

Liz, I'm still all excited that you got to meet him! I'm so damn happy for you! He sounds like he was just such a sweetheart. I think I'll try and say hello to him too at the concert I'm going to. I'm kind of afraid to say it to my friend though. I just know she'll just roll her eyes at me!! Plus I have NO idea what I'd say to him without making a total fool of myself! Oh YAY!! I'm so happy for you!!! I hope it's fantastic, and that you get to meet him! Like, to his face, or before he came out? What a bunch of knobheads. Seriously. They are just ridiculous. What??? They toured together? I think my brain just exploded! When was that? Ok, I saw them first in 2003 and then in the summer of 2004 and they came back again the february of the following year. I bought tickets for that straight away after the summer one! I couldn't not go. And then I saw them on the third night of that 5 night rehearsal thing they did in 2007, I think. They were all amazing. It was a lot, but it was so worth it. I hope they tour again after the release of the new album. I'm lucky though, 'cause they seem to like coming here! Mine too. Heartwrenchingly beautiful!

Thanks for bumping this Liz! One of my absolute favourite bands ever! I've seen them live 4 times, I think. Each of the gigs were fantastic. Can't wait for the new album!

Wow!!! These pics have me so excited as well. I wouldn't know how to go about it though! I play melodica in only one of them. I have others with melodica, but only one of the ones I've uploaded has it. Well, she knows I'm a big fan of his music and that I think he's a genius, but I don't comment on his beauty and sexiness much! I know! *Sigh*. I think Jamie knows how the media works though - he knows what to expect now, I suppose. I'd say he just finds it quite boring, rather than being annoyed or offended by it. But I agree that he should get to speak more in interviews. I'm so excited for you Lizzy!! The concert is going to be AMAZING!!

Actually, yes! The last time that they were on they were the musical guests, so there was no interview, but Jonathan referred to Damon as a genius, which was definitely a step up from the last time. I thought it was so sweet though - when jonathan said that about him the camera was on him, but you could see his eyes flick over to Jamie, as if to say "he's a genius too", without being too obvious. I could be wrong, but that's the way I read it. I kinda felt bad for Jamie there actually. Especially since Jonathan was all over Jamie the last time!

I think I've seen a picture of it before on his piano at a gig, but I've never seen him use it before. I'm pretty sure he had it first! It's a great instrument though, and it's so pretty. I love the black and red. It's called the Hohner Fire melodica, but they also do an ocean one, which is blue and black. That one is really nice too.

I think it was Jamie who said that in the youtube takeover videos - "Britain's number 1 creative partnership". He was taking the piss though 'cause the video was so ridiculous! I love that last pic especially! I love the fact that they disliked each other for so long. They're inseperable now! They holiday together for the love of god. :D

Yeah, I've heard he does that, but I hope he goes onto the stage at least at the end. He should really. God I have to get to the front at the gig I'm going to!

Oh yeh, and when I showed my mother the Clint Eastwood video from Letterman with the melodica (I have the same one), she threw her eyes up to heaven and then laughed at me. :cry: :laugh3: I don't care! I have the same melodica as Damon. When the hell did I turn into such a fangirl!? Can I just say though that my love for him is because of the music. It just so happens that he's fucking fabulous. I'm embracing that aspect here :D.

I LOVE the picture with Jamie!! I really hope he's started doing that at every gig - he should so get an applause. He shouldn't be missing out on the live show. God I love those two. So amazing.
