Last night I downloaded Death Cab For Cutie's Transatlanticism album, and I think I've fallen in love with it already after two listens :D

Okay then, here's a thread for people to find new music that they would like based on the kind of music they already listen to (yes, I'm aware of last.fm, but a personal response from another music fan would be a lot better). Basically you give the person above you a list of artists they would like (try to go for lesser known ones), according to a list they provide of what they listen to already. You then put down the kind of artists you listen to, and the next person will make some suggestions. And so on. When listing who you already listen to, try to be as extensive as possible, so that the next person has a clear idea of what you like and they won't put down music that you already like. This is really badly explained, so here's an example: "I listen to bands:.........................." "You'd really like .................... then! I listen to a lot of ............................" "Ah, you'd love these bands then: ..........." My favourite bands are:........................." And so on. I'll start: I have quite a limited taste in music really, only been into it for about a year :P So here's what I do like, any lesser known suggestion would be great. Coldplay Muse Elbow Arcade Fire Doves Oasis Radiohead A bit of Sigur Ros occasionally, but not too keen on other post-rock bands The Beatles occasionally The Verve Thanks, and enjoy!

Hey, I was wondering if anybody can help me with this? I'm relatively new to guitar (~ 8 months), and I can't work out the fingerpicking to Christmas Lights? Ahh... BH&R... has to be my favourite Muse album actually, just beating OoS. Invincible is my favourite Muse song, full stop, especially in HAARP :heart: This album is quality from start to finish: Take A Bow, Starlight, SMBH, Invincible, Problematique, Delusion and of course Knights of Cydonia... one of my favourite albums of all time, if not THE favourite :D

Probably one of those two... this is gonna be one strange album...
