  1. Music videos are always marketing tools, they're made to sell music. So I don't blame them for taking it a step further and show everyone they've created a comic book series WHICH YOU MUST BUY NOW!!!!!! Seriously though. It's great that they're trying out new stuff (both the comics and this video) and I think the idea behind it is far better than the Charlie Brown video, so I'm happy! But it's still an add and like some people have said, it looks like they're trying to make you buy something, instead of just entertaining you for a few mintues and then you can go do something else. They could have been more subtle. And I just don't like comics.
  2. It's Thom's birthday and I'm seeing them in one week. :dazzled:

Waiting for the "Skyfall is the greatest Bond theme of all time! :dazzled:" tweet. Come on Chris, you can do it. :P
  4. ^Wow, you're right! If time keeps on flying, they'll be back before we know it! :cheesy:
  5. There is no need to be disappointed by anyone. It's great that fans are critical. Being a fan is not about loving everything the band does. I get that it's annoying when you like something and someone else says it sucks. Try not to care, because it happens all the time. This is a forum, people are going to disagree about stuff. That's what makes it interesting. :)
  6. Just watched this video and ugh, I have to agree. It's an add.
  7. I think the song is brilliant, the best on MX, but I'm not a fan of the comic stuff either. Seems a bit... childish.
  8. I like these.
  9. Thanks for the links guys! THIS! Why the F did they not include it? I only watched about four seconds I was all goosebumps. Still, this is going to be one hell of a DVD.
  10. So many sweet pets in this thread :dazzled: Nooo :( These are our cats. They are sister and brother:
  11. Aaaw so cuuuute :wacky: Congratulations!
  12. ^ Weird. And that DJ herself tweeted it was in Nice as well. Yeah, that's so sweet. :wacky:
  13. This article says it was in Italy, not Nice: Chris Martin surprises Gwyneth with DJ Chris Martin flew his favourite DJ to Italy to perform at Gwyneth Paltrow's 40th birthday. The extravagant party took place on a boat near Portofino on Saturday. The Coldplay frontman apparently paid DJ Kayper a healthy sum to play rap records at the bash for his actress wife. The female spinner ' real name Kaajal Bakrania ' began playing in British clubs when she was just 15 and is one of the best current scratch artists. At the boat party, Chris revealed he had booked the DJ as both he and his wife enjoyed listening to her show, which is broadcast on British radio. Guests at the party included famous friends of the couple such as U2 frontman Bono and British actor Simon Pegg. Chris Martin provided further entertainment, by serenading his wife with his own version of Take That's Back for Good. The smitten couple were later spotted sharing a kiss to celebrate the special night. Gwyneth and Chris have been married since 2003 and have two children, Apple and Moses. Link

Chris. You aren't actually mentioning your wife where everyone can read it are you.
  15. ^ I don't think they'd leave them alone if they were more public. Hiding has been the way to deal with it for them, so that must be working. On the other hand, the rarer the picture, the more it's worth, I think. They probably considered it.
  16. Yes you're making sense. :) It's fine if you enjoy looking at those pictures, I do too, as long as you're aware they don't like being snapped all the time. And I think most of us are. Of course, in a way it's part of their job, but the thing is: the moment those pictures were taken, they weren't at work. I think it's too easy to say they signed up for this or that they have amazing lives anyway. (I'm not saying anyone has said this now, but I've heard it before.) Everyone has a right to privacy, including famous people. But that's not our responsibility. I think the fact that everyone keeps having this conversation shows that we care though, so that's great.
  17. Those pics are very cute and I agree with what has been said a few times already. :)
  18. Yep, we all suck big time. I will always click on links and look at pictures. And like it. And feel guilty. All I can say is, they are such a cute family. I truly hope they had a great few days together and that they had enough time alone, without creepy guys taking pictures.
  19. ^:dazzled: That is THE CUTEST and funniest thing ever.
  20. It's such a weird, unnatural 'relationship' when you're a fan of someone. You feel like you know them personally, so you want to see what they're up to, you want to know what their kids look like, but at the same time you know that's exactly the reason why paparazzi are bothering them, and you don't want that at all. Basically we're making sure those paps still have a job to do. :\
  21. Congrats! Once again, torn between 'stupid paps ' and 'OMG :dazzled:' It sucks to be a fan :shame: Hey did Gwyneth hear her dad was ill when they celebrated her 30th in Italy? Must be an emotional weekend for her...
  22. I'm not sure how it works on phones but you're probably able to trace his server? I can't remember how exactly... I think you should google it, I'm not the most technical of people. :P Good luck!
  23. Have you ever received an e-mail from him? If so, you're probably able to locate him (or at least the computer he sent it from), to see if his personal address is legit. He must be the dumbest thief ever if it is though.
  24. This sucks big time. I was once ripped off by someone who pretended to sell me concert tickets, so I went to a Dutch forum http://www.opgeletopinternet.nl/ which works together with the police. Turns out he stole money from over twenty people and together we were able to trace him via his IP address and make him pay us all back. But that only works if he did it to more people. (And if you can find a website like that in German or English, I guess.) Let's just hope he still sends you your stuff!
