Dutch media (mainly Twitter) are reporting that Bono, Chris Martin, Herbert Grönemeyer and the Metropole Orchestra are going to perform in Amsterdam today, in honor of Anton Corbijn, who's getting a cultural award (Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds Prijs 2011). It's taking place in the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. I was overwhelmed by Rock Am Ring and proud after Glasto, but their best was Rock Werchter. (Am biased cause was there.) Rock In Rio had the best atmosphere though.

Just watched The Scientist (which made me tear up), the tambourine bit was hilarious! :lol: Loved Fix You too, and I liked ETIAW better on piano. You lucky people, sigh.

3FM do play it, but yeah, not as much as 538, which surprises me too. :shrug: I think it's going to be a massive hit though.

:stunned: It's now 'alarmschijf' on Radio538, which means it's the most played track of the week (about every three hours) and has huge hit potential. So... Where's the announcement?

Really don't like this news, but I'm not sure why. I even enjoy watching these Dutch singing/talent shows from time to time. Maybe it's not such a big deal. The thing that bothers me most, just like with the 20/20/20/40 thing, is that Chris recently denied it (like some others said). He lies all the time, that guy. :P

^Thanks! Yeah 3FM are usually quick (and right) with these things, but nothing's confirmed... I am happy for now though. Charlie is a much better choice than POC.

Dutch radio stations (Radio 538 and 3FM, which are pretty reliable sources) are saying Charlie Brown is their new single. And I've heard it twice on radio today. :shrug:

Oh right, now I remember. :lol: Well we have another holiday before Christmas, called Sinterklaas (which is basically the same guy as Santa Claus), so I'll have to wait until after December fifth. That's when the Christmas season starts here.
