  1. Well if he meant that, then he's a cool dude.
  2. My phone has auto correct, and it sucks. I meant songs. Btw, good one.
  3. If that's what it means, then fuck you! Haha
  4. Glad I could help, btw do you learn your sings by ear?
  5. Confidence, tone, and timing. Things that you, and admittedly, I, need to work on. But you got balls for singing this one, man. Kudos.
  6. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=Guitar+tunings&go=Go
  7. e -- D (tune down two half steps) B -- B G -- D (tune down five half steps) D -- D A -- G (tune down two half steps) E -- E
  8. Well what does it say, are you looking at kapones tab?
  9. False, TyM. Band relies on rhythm guitar or pianist. Even handclaps, but not the drummer.
  10. Tripod magic, dude.
  11. Post up a video man, from one performer to another
  12. Using your guitar for any of these man?
  13. Try "For No One" by the Beatles. Great piano song
  14. Try "For No One" by the Beatles. Great piano song
  15. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Does anyone have the tab for this song, possibly the chords that Chris plays?
  16. This ones tuning is the same as swallowed in the sea
  17. Well, you're left-handed, you got a left-handed guitar. And you should also watch guitar lessons with this guy. http://www.justinguitar.com/ I learned incredibly fast from this guy.
  18. Nice hair, play Yellow.
  19. First of all, do you have a lefty guitar. Some leftys, like Paul McCartney, learned lefty with righty guitars. And I don't know why people write tab like this: e B G D A E But a good way to remember it is this. Notice how there are two E strings on a guitar tab such as this. The capital E is the thick bass string, and the lowercase E is the thinnest string. Can't answer number two, because I haven't heard many of the newer Coldplay songs. Which is about to change in an hour. And for the crazy tuning thing, Coldplay guitar is all about that. ALL ABOUT THAT. I broke so many strings trying to get these crazy f*cking tunings down. So here's a tip, use the Wikipedia page for Guitar Tunings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_tunings For example, Swallowed in the Sea (Acoustic), the tuning goes E -> E A -> A D -> D G -> G B -> B e -> D# which means tune the High E string (the thinnest one) down one half step. Most Coldplay songs deal with tuning strings down, and you'll rarely get songs where you tune up, such as Violet Hill, Life in Technicolor, God Put a Smile Upon Your Face, and Help is Around the Corner. Also really helpful to have an electric tuner.
  20. Well if you need help with any of the Coldplay songs, or Beatle songs, just give a holler.
  21. My actual first guitar was a Dean, funny enough. But you gave up piano for guitar?
  22. Don't know if you're a beginner or anything, but I'll be honest with you, Coldplay songs are definitely not easy songs. I had such a hard time getting thumbed barre chords down, but in time, you will. Luckily I was all about Beatle stuff which is pretty easy
