  1. It was written next to the pronunciation of Mylo Xyloto, and the album title actually ment something, didn't it. Just saying, I think Under 1 Roof IS Mylo Xyloto!!
  2. Half a sentence isn't what I would call "very strong".
  3. That's just fantastic! The song sounds even more amazing than live :D
  4. You are the most amazing person playing a piano on Youtube! At least when it comes to Coldplay songs
  5. My guess is that each letter means something, and that MYLO is a group of "things" or persons, and XYLOTO is the same. That would make sense, at least.. :p
  6. ETIAW was written not so long before it was released, so I don't think that was one of the first.
  7. Of the songs we've already heard, I think I would be happy if only Charlie Brown, Hurts Like Heaven and Princess of China made the cut. We've already got ETIAW, Major Minus and Moving to Mars released, so as long as I've got studio versions of them on my iPod (and anywhere else :p ) I see absolutely no reason why they should be included on the album as well, instead of giving room to new songs. Us Against The World is a nice song, but I feel it's more of a b-side, and if it's not included it means that the three U's on the album will be Up With The Birds, Up In Flames and U.F.O. :D
  8. Do you have a link to the site? Because I love the photos!
  9. I don't understand why you want the already released songs on the album? Personally I want as much new material as possible!
  10. High Speed 0 Everything's Not Lost 10 Now let's do: Major Minus vs. Yes
  11. Somewhere up above the stars, I guess.
  12. I am in Spain on holiday, and I haven't got Internet access where I stay, so I went to a bar to get WiFi to watch Coldplay live at the iTunes festival, and stood outside for a few minutes, before I decided to get in just to get better signal. And just as I enter and Yellow starts to play, I hear the same song coming from the speakers inside the bar! :p
  13. I NEED to hear the Clocks thing everyone's talking about :stunned: Can't believe that's the only part of the concert I missed.. :embarrassed:
  14. Shit, I missed Clocks, what was that piano thing..?! :O
  15. No, it was Coldplay that skipped LIFL..?
  16. Sounded like fireworks on Charlie Brown?
  17. Yes but during one live performance, I think it was Glastonbury actually, we talked about his bass on the forum and just as we did, he brought it out! So it's probably just sound reasons, or maybe he just doesn't feel comfortable with it. Or maybe it's just "stuck" in the studio because of recording? It's definitely not broken, though, because he play it sometimes.
  18. He's played it in some shows and some songs between T and Glastonbury so no, it's not broken. ;)
  19. They do. Chris went on his keyboard a bit late but you could hear a slight difference once he started.
  20. Madness is part of the Charlie Brown lyrics, and if that's the title I'll cry because it sounds really stupid.. And I guess Xylobrytes is a noun, and you can't put "madness" in front of a plural noun?? "Madness Gardenforks" or "Madness Streetlights".. THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. It would have had to be "mad" if that was the case. But I don't believe they'll call it just MX because they already got X&Y and it would be strange of them to release another album with a two letter name where one of them is X.. If it has anything to do with Xylobrytes I'm guessing "Magic Xylobrytes" is the name.
  21. My review: I really think this was better than Rock am Ring, because it seemed that they had more energy today, and they were also a lot tighter in their performance. It was great to see them use their excitement in the right way, to make the music more powerful, and not as in Glastonbury, where they used all the adrenalin to overdo it and make mistakes. The crowd sounded amazing as well. Although not singing along with Glastonbury-power, they really showed how excited they were and showed their appreciation to Coldplay. Also good to see that they never "fell asleep", they were consistently alive and it seemed like they enjoyed every song. Jonny was great, Guy enjoyed himself, Will had a lot of energy and Chris was focused and didn't do any major fuck ups. Shiver and Everything's Not Lost were the songs I doubted before the show started, but they both worked really well and surprisingly I enjoyed them really much! But I still missed Cemeteries of London, as well as Speed of Sound and Lovers In Japan. Hurts Like Heaven wasn't as good as in France, and Major Minus not as good as at Glastonbury, but except from that, they did everything so perfect that I'll give them a 9,5 out of 10.
  22. The only Coldplay concert I've seen (live and stream) that beat this is Toronto 2006 I think! Amazing.
