For me it will be easier to stay away from the leaks if they happen about a week before the release than say if MX were to leak tomorrow. The temptation won't have time to manifest itself :P

I may read the lyrics. but I'll probably stay away from the reviews and such--I like having a positive mindset when listening to new stuff, and I don't want to be influenced by people who thought it was crap (because you know there will always be someone that isn't satisfied and feels the need to rant).

Are you even going to listen to Paradise (and its possible subsequent b-sides)? :surprised: Oh geez, the forum will go nuts :confused: I'll be helping it go nuts, of course, but I'll stay away from the leaks.

I'm buying the special edition version with the poster and popup-thingy :wacky: If it leaks, I will try my hardest not to listen to it because that sort of takes away the satisfaction of running madly through the store to find the album, tearing open the plastic and locking myself in my room for two hours listening to it. Nothing else compares. :nod:

Hey now, Jonny Buckland is just as good as The Edge (better, in my humble opinion). He just doesn't like to show off--he could totally shred if he wanted to, but he doesn't like to draw attention to himself. :nod: Shy personality, and all.

Well, the guys managed to keep ETiaW from leaking, so anything is possible :shrug: Although an entire album is harder to keep under lock and key than a single song--I'm guessing it will leak a week or two before the official release date.

Hmm . . . First of all I think that the title 'Paradise' is misleading. It'll probably be a darker song, possibly dealing with a situation that seems to be perfect, but underneath it's a totally different story (a certain book comes to mind but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called . . .). As for what it sounds like, I imagine it to be a hybrid of Violet Hill and Cemeteries of London, with a little bit of Viva influence. It will start with a piano and gradually build into a full-band song with some of Davide Rossi's strings. There will be some of Coldplay's signature "ohhh oohh's" somewhere in the mix, and at the end it will all fade away back to the piano and Chris singing the final verse or two (think Swallowed In The Sea).
