  1. ^ Like in the Viva era when we had the lyrics 'Now my feet won't touch the ground' in Strawberry Swing and Life In Technicolor II, but we also had the song Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground.
  2. I suppose this is sort of different from 'Major Minus - LP5 Title?' :P So um . . . . I guess Major Minus is plausible, along with MX
  3. I guess it would make you more recognizable?
  4. 42! :awesome: Yes, Foxeh, you need! :P
  5. Hmm, never heard of them :P I might have to give them a listen, though . . .
  6. Interesting name, Have You Fed The Fish . . . I think X&Y is perfectly fine, but I guess Chris can say what he likes :P
  7. Good point. I'm trying not to get so excited about LP5 that when it comes out I'll be bitterly disappointed, but it's quite hard, honestly. I think part of that comes from 1. The worldwide success of Viva 2. The 3+ years that we've been waiting for LP5 3. The complete lack of any solid news and the secretive way the guys are going about things
  8. Did it? Well, I guess it can't be too bad if Radiohead liked it :P Actually, the guys themselves seem to like it also.
  9. Nnoooooooooo! :uhoh: Besides, X&Y wasn't necessarily bad--it just wasn't up to par with ARoBttH or Parachutes. I think Chris mentioned in an interview that you can't win with your third album (especially considering how amazing ARoBttH was).
  10. 'On this forum' Well I should hope so! :P I don't know how big the hype for Viva got because I wasn't a Coldplayer back then, but I have a feeling that the hype leading up to each album will just get bigger and bigger. If the guys drop a bomb and LP5 is a horrible album (I hope not!) then the LP6 hype will be about whether or not Coldplay can get back on track If they drop an absolutely fantastic album that blows away all expectations then the LP6 hype will be whether or not they can top their previous efforts. Either way, it's going to be awesome  I love the feeling of anticipation just before a huge album. It's like the calm before a storm (except it's far from calm).
  11. At the iTunes festival R42 tweeted that the guys were playing a song that was less than 18 hours old for the soundcheck. Plus, I doubt that Chris ever stops writing songs.
  12. I think it's because Viva was so massive that it pretty much catapulted Coldplay into the stratosphere music-wise. They were big before, but Viva put them up there with giants like U2. Before Viva, no one in my town had even heard of Coldplay, but now it seems like everyone has a Coldplay song on their iPod (three guesses which song that is :P). I'm willing to go so far to say that LP5 will be even bigger than Viva was.
  13. I noticed that . . . And Geoff's got to know that at a festival there's going to be some things that he doesn't agree with 100%
  14. :awesome: I do that all the time! And then when I get up in the morning I'll say 'Do we get any album news today, guys?'
  15. They are? :freak: I don't see anything . . .
  16. I'm sure they appreciate our enthusiasm :P
  17. The F2 key on my keyboard has a little radio tower symbol on it :freak:
  18. Ah, okay. I actually found it on YT just before you posted :P The song isn't bad, actually
  19. I would go and get one, but I don't know if Joplin's Target is there anymore :uhoh:
