[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
I'm surprised they didn't open with Politik, but maybe HLH just fits the atmosphere better

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
EDIT: nvm, apparently they're playing Charlie Brown now. And they did actually play Violet Hill??

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands

Same setlist . . . . so why the secrecy?
-
[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
So according to Chris, Us Against The World is going to become world-famous? :P
-
[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
I don't think they played Cemeteries

I would ask if Chris did that kick-butt intro, but I guess you guys have no way of knowing that :P

That looks like his 'Trouble' face for sure! :P
-
[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
Oh, well I knew they played Trouble at the Crisis gig :P but aside from that I bet it's been awhile . . . So . . . why exactly would someone change the stream from COLDPLAY to a bonfire?

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
I didn't know they cancelled that (I'm obviously not very observant right now :P) But that must mean that something big is going to happen soon . . .

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
Really? I thought they didn't play that one anymore. Obviously I've missed something :P

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
 Apparently the guys wanted to listen to the audiotrack of their performance before it being released to the public. I have no idea why if the setlist is the same (although if they've switched Cemeteries for Trouble then they might be making more changes) :wink3:

TROUBLE?! What is . . . . I don't even :freak: How long has it been since they've played THAT, I wonder? Those lucky people

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
Hmm . . . if this is the exact same setlist, I wonder why the guys didn't want their performance broadcast?

Okay, thanks. No surprises there at least.

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
Nope. Coldplay isn't allowing their performance to be broadcast, and even if they were, you can only watch it from the Netherlands. :\

Fair enough, but I don't think any home-bought camcorder could get as high-quality picture/sound as a professional one. And if they're in the front row, they could get some serious bass distortion, like in Princess of China, which can't be avoided by any means other than going up to Guy and throwing his bass on the ground :awesome: I think they made a good decision by giving us a couple of new songs--otherwise all they would have to play at the festivals would be old songs at least three years old that have already been heard the world over. It would be fairly boring, to be honest. I think these six songs are enough for now, and Coldplay must feel that way too. :)

Oh I wouldn't be screaming the wrong lyrics--I'd be screaming the right lyrics really really loudly :sneaky: . . . . lol, no I wouldn't do that to you :awesome: I would only scream when Chris isn't singing and there isn't an awesome Jonny-riff going on :wink3:
