  1. /obligatory post of the day edit: TYLER :awesome:
  2. Ugh, why didn't they keep the old artwork? I kind of liked the old one, but the new one is horrid
  3. ^ I don't think there was ever an *official* conformation from the guys, but it was discovered at the same time and place as the instrumental for Lukas (which we know is real because you can hear Chris' muffled voice from where it bled into the guitar mic), so I think it's safe to say that it's the real deal. Plus, it fits the description of the song that the guys gave us :)
  4. asd;lkahsd;fjh :dazzled: It's about dang time
  5. I would die if they played Swallowed In The Sea or A Message :wacky:
  6. Well, several of my guy friends think they are a "winey" band that only writes piano ballads, but I think it's basically because they aren't seen as a "cool" band. They aren't seen as rock-y enough by half of the "haters" (I use this term loosely, mind) and indie enough by the other half. idk, there are a lot of reasons, but honestly I think that if these people took the time to actually sit down and listen to their lyrics and instrumentation (basically, all of the quirks that make Coldplay who they are), there would be far fewer "haters".
  7. Wazzup guys :awesome: . . . wow, it's been a while since I last came to this thread :uhoh:
  8. That's an interesting point, actually. I hadn't ever thought of MX like that, but it makes sense now that you say that. All of Coldplay's albums have been significantly different from each other (from indie to alternative to rock to pop-rock), but all they really did to transition from Viva to MX was add another layer of synths and effects. Plus, Viva is miles better than MX both lyrically and musically.
  9. I completely agree with the bit about Mylo Xyloto  Actually, I agree with most of this article.
  10. I feel the same way. Of course, the guys have earned this two-month break, but this era does seem to be rather boring--especially compared to Viva. I don't even listen to MX very much--it's definitely their weakest album. Hopefully things will pick up when the tour starts.
  11. UGGGHHH SO CLOSE ;___________________;
  12. Since . . . uh  about a week ago :D Oh yeah, I forgot you were going to that  Glad you had fun!
  13. Ugh, I (personally) think it's Coldplay's worst song. By far  The lyrics are just downright bad--to me, lyrics are the most important part of the song--and the synth intro reminds me of video game music :uhoh:
  14. Oh Coldplay b-sides, you complete me :wacky:
  15. Happy Easter weekend, everyone! :D
  16. Replace Lost! with Glass Of Water and Lovers In Japan with Clocks on Viva and you have my perfect album :dazzled:
  17. Ooh :surprised: The snippet sounds amazing. Can't wait!
  18. I once bought a Katy Perry song :blank:
  19. ads;kjsdhfa;s City and Colour is opening for Coldplay in Vancouver :wacky: If only I could go :blank:
  20. I Ran Away is so good :wacky:
  21. Congrats! Gracias, amigos :D
