  1. I was just thinking that myself
  2. :wink3: . . . Argh. They've taken it off air now. :P
  3. That chair looks really comfortable :wacky:
  4. Eh. It was alright, I suppose. There were some extremely cheesy parts, but overall not terribly bad. It's miles better than the Charlie Brown video, at least :P But, basing it off the other (better) videos Coldplay has done in the past (Strawberry Swing, The Scientist, Talk, etc.), I would give it a 4.
  5. Hay guys, I'm here to join the madness (although it doesn't seem to be very mad right now) :P
  6. *rubs eyes* :stunned: wat Dear God . . . this doesn't even sound like the same song! Why the heck did the guys use that overproduced scrap of dirt over this version? The instrumentation even partially makes up for the bad lyrics! I just . . . wat  Could not agree with you more.
  7. Hola guys :P Gee, I might actually be around more often now that it's summer!
  8. ^ Couldn't agree more. I've not heard a single remix ever that was even half as good as the original song.
  9. Well, when the album first came out, I was so excited that I was bound to love it even if it was horrible. That feeling has long since worn off and I now consider it to be their worst album. :\ This was the first Coldplay album, I felt, which had multiple songs with sub-par lyrics, something that I was really disappointed with, since the only *bad* lyrical songs up until then had been Lost!. Now we have PoC, Paradise, and ETiaW (I'm going to get chewed out for this, aren't I? :P ). But anyway, I do like Major Minus (my first favorite off the album), U.F.O., and UWtB (my current favorite), which kind of balance out the negative points.
  10. The boring parts without lyrics? The lyrics are the boring part! :P
  11. *obligatory post of the day* :P Wow, I'm never around any more, am I?
  12. Okay, those visuals are pretty interesting. I'm somewhat less skeptical about this video now.
  13. ^ Same. Best live opener, aside from maybe Politik :wacky:
  14. The excitement / anger is strong in this thread tonight :P
  15. Because, as others have said, it would be difficult to play live. The weird synth things in the middle would most likely a) Sound not quite right in a stadium / arena atmosphere b) Not be heard at all . . . which of course, messes with the entire second half of the song. I suppose they could tweak it a bit and substitute the synths for a piano solo, or something ( :wacky: ), but the guys might have already considered that and decided that it would be better to just leave it off the setlists. Which is a shame, really. It's by far the best song on MX.
  16. Because, unfortunately, what sells these days are the 'catchy' songs rather than the songs with real emotional / lyrical / musical value :blank: Hence, why we must deal with the likes of Katy Perry, Pitbull, and Nikki Minaj
