i hope that since Paradise is expected to be some sort of "anthem" it will give us something to replace the Viva chant, but i know that's gonna be a tough feat.... so I'm really just hoping for something awesome!

to me UATW sounds stylistically like NMFWTG and Til Kingdom Come, but that being said, it is by far better than those two. UATW seems more organic with a richer sound and when the bass and piano come in i really like the depth they give it. the lyrics are hands down the best we've heard so far, personally i think this song lyrically is on par with anything from A Rush of Blood to the Head era.

I think that the album title is unique... it obviously serves some sort of purpose in the music... and we'll find out what sooner or later. To be brutally honest I don't really see many people's big issue with it, it's not something bland, it's not something too long, it's short, catchy, and looks cool to write and say. Soooooo... what's the problem exactly? And don't give the "OH IT'S JUST RUBBISH" response. Oh and one more thing. I know this thread is only about the album's title but... seriously. Who cares? The album title could be "Chris Martin Shits A Brick" and if it had amazing music on it, I would love it. Judging an album title is pointless because an album is a lot like a book. You don't read a book for it's title... you read it cause it's a good book.

Yeahhhhhhh... every EMI Hosted website is down... I don't know but something tells me it's not a cause of something Coldplay-related. Maybe just some problems at EMI. But who knows? Maybe EMI has to shut down their hosting in order to change Coldplay's website? That's a really strange, nonsensical guess but it could be the reason.

It seems most likely to me because I just took all the information that we know of and all the songs that have a possibility to be on the album and I created my guess. And yes, this speculating and guessing is utterly pointless but if you don't want to read them how about you just don't, ya know, click on the thread? i love the title Car Kids.. probably not the title of the album, as the title is "hard to spell", and the words 'Car' and 'Kids' are really elementary. still, it just feels to me like it's gonna be an amazing song, i just have this weird inkling for no reason at all and no evidence to prove anything, i just feel like it's gonna be huge! :D

this is my thought.. ETIAW is an okay song, i can see going to a concert and having a fucking blast dancing around to it, but just listening to it with my headphones on, it's a decent Coldplay song. LP5 will most definitely have better tracks, probably two or three standout radio hits, and the rest us the fans will adore for the rest of time. i also have a strange feeling ETIAW is not going to be on the album.. Coldplay had their winter LP5 moment with Christmas Lights and now have had their summer LP5 moment with ETIAW just my opinion though. we'll see what happens, nothings for sure

wedding bells wasn't even a full song... it seemed pretty unfinished.. and pretty plain to be honest, im kinda glad it was just reworked into christmas lights.

i love it too, makes the song feel more complete! and it doesn't overpower anything, which is even better! :D
