Have I missed something with this 'john crawford' poster thing?

If it doesn't have ETIAW I will be happy. I like it but I think they can do better. I love Major Minus and Moving To Mars too but I would rather not have those either, now that we already have them!

I really hope it doesn't cost too much because I desperately want to get it as well as the standard version

MTM is arguably the best track on ETIAW EP and sadly probs the one that is used least

Same here, he is long overdue one. They should make an entire album focusing on the bass, might be dificult but would be worth a try to emphasise Guy's importance!

I love it when they use really unusual instruments!! This is going to be an important part of the album, i reckon

Going back to the thread title: August 16, 2011 - submitted by Matthew, United Kingdom Q. I know you can't talk about it, but this concerns Hurts Like Heaven. With the album being announced and the billboard story, there's a massive thing going around that HLH won't make it to the album. Why?! It seems to be THE song for the album, and ties in with everything that has been promoted so far (running man, graffiti, opening song to the concerts!, etc). It's my (and a lot of others) favorite song so far, and I guess that all I want is for Coldplay to know what a great song they have here, and that it deserves to be on Mylo Xyloto. I know you know nothing of final track listing, and you can't say anything to us; but is there the chance that you can let the boys know that this song deserves everything it can get for the album? You're right I can't say but I will tell you a story. Just before X&Y was finished I heard that Talk was going to be left off. I felt I had to step in so texted Chris. The next thing I knew, it was being mixed and included on the album. Hand on heart I don't know the tracklisting right now but if I did and Hurts Like Heaven wasn't on, I wouldn't text about it. I absolutely LOVE the song but I have faith that this is the album the band wanted to make and want to release so that's good enough for me. I wouldnt worry, it seems in safe hands!

Yeah I know but I haven't come across anyone that has said they don't like it so I think they should make better use of it! But it just goes to show how talented they are that not only can they write a brilliant song just for a world tour but a brilliant song just for a small leg of the tour!!

I think it is impossible to tell how many songs will come out of Mylo Xyloto's recording because they say they are going to finish 13. But this probably doesn't include older stuff like Don Quixote and Sex & Violence and the ETIAW EP. Also, they may have finished others before the interview. I would love to have Don Quixote as a B-side to Paradise but I doesn't really go with the oppression theme does it!

I'm not saying to disinclude them from the tracklist because I know that ETIAW and MM are almost certain but he said "we are only GOING to finish 13 songs" (I think :\) So what I was saying was does this mean that they will actually have 16 songs from the Mylo Xyloto recording process? This seems like a more realistic figure!

^ haha, I read on here on a different thread that Xyloto is something to do with insects. Also, when we first saw xylobrytes written on the screen at Rock im Park during POC didnt someone say it had something to do beetles. It sounds stupid but i'm sure when we find out officially it will make sense!!
