I can see that :nod: But I think X&Y (the whole album) isn't very lyrically strong. Save for "White Shadows" and "Low." But that's just what I think. Lyrics aren't the only things that make songs really good. "Fix You" is an awesome song (one of my favorites), especially live, but the lyrics on paper are really basic and a little drab. :thinking:

^People are CRAZY for Swallowed in the Sea. I think it's a pretty strong track on that album. My thing was that the entire album was...messy. And way too long.

:nod: Agreed! In my opinion, their only true "dud" was on X&Y. I hate "The Hardest Part." And it doesn't really fit with anything else, in my eyes. Viva was just so cohesive, focused and textured. It's really hard for me to listen to any one song. I have to listen to them all! :P

I don't think so. Maybe later on, but not one of the top singles for sure. If it's a single, I think it will be a really low-key release, kind of like Strawberry Swing. But I doubt it will be.

Major Minus, Charlie Brown (or I'm assuming Paradise, haven't heard it yet) would start the album. Ever. I'll bet it's something we haven't heard yet. No, he knows how to spell, communicate, and form sentences. Also, he's not annoyingly trolling. I don't even think he's trolling because all the stuff he makes up (lyrics, back album covers, track listing, etc), he says are made up. Speculation. Well it's even worse than judging a book by it's cover! In this case, people are judging DLIBYH as if they were judging "The Great Gatsby" when given TGG. Or "Lord of the Rings" from LOTR. Lame. :rolleyes:

One thing that concerned me: R42 stated when he was talking about mixing Paradise something about Will's "programmed beats" in the song. What the heck does that mean? Hopefully there isn't anything weird with the percussion.
