Hello! Congrats on making your first post! :thumbsup::nice: Hmm...My favorite album...X&Y, but very closely followed by AROBTTH. I love X&Y just because I relate best to Square One, White Shadows, Talk, Low, Twisted Logic, and Speed of Sound. Really. :lol: With AROBTTH, that album has so much depth and meaning to me, that I couldn't begin to fathom my life without Clocks, Politik, In My Place, etc. ~It is lovely to have a place like this to fit in, it's a very liberating feeling. :) I'm glad to have had the pleasure of meeting you too! :)

It seems to me like there isn't an answer to this question. I wish that hate didn't exist in any way, but what can we do? Nothing. We can't change how others feel, we can try to persuade them, but that's all. I guess I really don't care why some people hate Coldplay, because I just feel sorry about how much their missing. No matter how futile the reason.

I mean, there has to be more than just me, for Pete's sake! I live 90 miles from Minneapolis! :P I've tried to get some of my friends to listen to Coldplay, and some of them like a couple songs, but they've got nothing on me. :D

I actually knew about Mat before Coldplay! I love his sound so much. He's in my top 5 :P

I really don't know anyone terribly popular (my school is relatively clique free). Just making an example. :\ But I've always wondered the same thing. I mean, why hate four men who are incredible people and make wonderful music? I guess you have to be on the outside to know. :shrug:

This reminds me of something my family once said to me. Last year a classmate of mine made it clear that she had a vendetta against me. I have a pretty good life, like most people I know. Well, my family said to me, "She must be jealous of you." Don't we all go through that, whether it be the queen bee in H.S., the really handsome guy who gets all the girls, etc. Everyone at one point in life loves to hate the person with the "perfect" life. But, in truth, they go through the same things as we do.

Yeah. I'm worried about the incoming sophomores only because their the clique-y-est bunch I've ever seen. But I know a couple of them, who are pretty cool. But brand new freshman, oh god. Good luck! :) I'm going to be a junior :) I'm kinda sad, because we lost 2 really amazing players (their so good you want to cry) at graduation. Our marching program is only grades 10-12. There is roughly 160-170 of us total. We have three bands; Concert band (freshman), Symphonic Band (lower level 10-12), and Sym. Winds (higher level 10-12). So, I guess we have a pretty big program. :P But that's relatively small considering the population of my school is 1,600+ I love Band so much, but sometimes I feel like I'm apart from it. :\ I love listening to music more than I love playing it. I've always thought it was because Clarinet is the only instrument I play, and I wish I could learn piano and guitar. :)

Listening to Apparatjik. I don't know, it just made me happy! :P :dance:

Oh, and my question is: Why in the hell no track-by-track for X & Y? I really would like to know what he thinks of those songs!!! :P
