I was thinking about the Beatles, but I can't really stand their music. I guess what they did for music was good, but they don't deserve that much of a legacy. The Velvet Underground are much more tolerable IMO, and they're not death worn over worn over worn over... I can't stand britpop much at all, old or new. It all sounds exactly the same.

I don't like Burial, I can't get into it. Can't stand is quite the stretch, but he's pretty good. He produced a good chunk of Jamie Woon's Mirrorwriting. Also, Frank Zappa and Joanna Newsom.
