ASFOS at #9 too, looks like the NBC special helped out

I don't see why everyone is complaining so much about the commercials, it's how TV works. ColdplayAtlas on Twitter says the show was 42 minutes of Coldplay, with 18 minutes of commercials (that's how long nearly every one hour show is). According to Chris the show cost ~$3 million, so NBC had to get their money out of it someway. I'm thankful I got to see my favorite band for a full hour on TV. NBC took a risk giving a whole hour to a band, I hope it works out for them so we can see other bands on TV as well. We'll most likely get to see the full concert on DVD in a couple months, this is enough to hold me over till then.

That was awesome, so cool to see them on TV.

Good evening. MTV Japan today announced that Coldplay will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan (VMAJ) 2014. The 13th annual MTV VMAJ 2014 will broadcast live from Maihama Amphitheater on MTV Japan on Saturday June 14th at 6pm (Tokyo time) and MTV Asia will run a same-day telecast of the show at 7pm (WIB), 8pm (SIN/HK), 9pm (MAL). I think it is a performance since it says "tune in to watch Coldplay perform." They also had something similar for Justin Timberlake for his 20/20 release which included a live performance.
