I agree, the first picture we saw before Comic Con looked lame and as you say, 'childish'. But the actual artwork inside of it is so amazing and well done.

We don't have an exact date yet, first issue will be released in February, not the others. Hopefully Coldplay.com will put up a pre order page soon and we'll have more details then.

Would Live Nation be involved in the comic? Theoretically, wouldn't they just be for shirts and stuff?

I agree. It feels like the music wasn't written about something that we can relate to, but for a more fictional world. I'm not complaining at all though, it's soo different from other artists.
