  1. That is a very interesting view, I must admit. Perhaps I have that habit, never gave it a thought, which is why it surprised me. Anyway, I wouldn't say Viva album is more 'intelligent',the way you put it, than AROBTTH ( I love both of the two, to make it clear).
  2. I wouldn't like songs to be as long as White Shadows,e.g. BUT, short songs like Parachutes are annoying (ok,they have their elusive charm blah blah). I'm sure they will make them neither too long nor too short (broadly speaking). Now the question-what's the problem with a bit longer tracks ( 4min for example,(ok that's not long)), you don't actually have to listen to complete album all at once, to sit it through,so to say. What I meant to convey, your argument seems dull to me. (no offense, of course).
  3. I like this optimism (considering your mood is apprehensive :P ). I'm really beginning to believe quite many records will hit the tracklist, although one thing puzzles me; I recall having read they want the album to be concise... so either other songs must be short or there won't be as many songs after all.
  4. ^Ooh, I see. It would be much of a spoiler if they had played all the songs that are in the run for the final tracklist, wouldn't it? Stupid me. :rolleyes3:
  5. Wait, they played like completely new songs at Splendour? The ones we haven't heard yet at all? Well what was it like?!? Anyone? And why do I get the feeling the band is somehow insecure about this new album?
  6. Yaay, Up in Flames! Made my day :) And I'm so glad guys prove we can only guess at the final tracklist and never know it for sure. I'm so tired of those predictions, there are like three threads discussing it.
  7. I don't expect to hear anything relevant to LP5 until perhaps the 12th August. Unless that was a joke as well.
  8. I wish they didn't collaborate with anyone. I just hate when bands/singers do it. Ruins a song for me. Like Gold In Them Hills-->Chris should've sung the entire song himself.
  9. Fake man!
  10. LP5 era is kinda still in its infancy so it's useless to vote for it yet. I'm also surprised how X&Y seems to be popular. Anyway, AROBTTH FTW!
  11. ^Yeah, they could've come up with something more elaborate. Not that it would mean much.
  12. Don't Panic I guess.
  13. Man, I can't believe this. I'd use another account not to troll anymore and to enjoy this forum again. But hey, that's just me. ^Yeah, let's plot the next theory about LP5. :dozey:
  14. I might have posted here, I don't remember...so, it's I Ran Away, For You, See You Soon and Ladder to the Sun.
  15. Only chocolate beats Coldplay in my case. Sorry guys.
  16. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but fuck it. Has anybody wondered why the song is called Hurts Like Heaven and not...well,you know the phrase. Is it something they invented ( Chris and guys) or they copied it from somewhere?
  17. Perhaps it will make it as a b-side. And perhaps it is all forgotten about. :( Plus, it will be a long time before they (decide to) make another EP, b-side or whatsoever.

  20. ^What's with Guy, lol
