  1. I think that's the matter. But tell me, they say they're still in the process of creating songs to be included on the new album. We've got so many titles of the songs (wikiColdplay) that they considered and I bet they have as much songs in store,so why would they put ETiaW and MM on the album- AGAIN?! I just don't get it.
  2. Wow,this thread is so good. I've only seen a couple of pages and there wasn't a single picture I didn't laugh at. My accolades to everyone there!
  3. I pray that the thought of doing a solo album never enters his mind.
  4. ^^Yeah, only in your imagination, I'm afraid.
  5. I'd like the guys to surprise us and prove wrong all of the theories on this forum.
  6. As much as it is exhausting to wait for this new album, I'd rather have the guys put some quality songs on album if they think they're better than those originally planned to make final tracklist. But then again, how long would we have to wait? The best solution would be to drop an EP along with the LP. I think I've insinuated this before, but has there been such a fuss about any of the previous albums? I can't recall.
  7. I don't remember being so inquisitive about the VLV album...I just read some weeks later in newspaper that it was released. And then I just happily went to the closest CD-shop and bought it...Everything about this next album is a whole lot different.
  8. I wonder if all of their scrawls are just out there for the sake of the album's conception, and their changing as a band or there's that curious wish to tease fans?
  9. ^Oh,okay, thanks. That's not so long to wait. If only they dropped the album along with its name. :laugh3:
  10. Can someone please tell what did Chris say when will the fans be let known the name of the album...it was to Ryan Seacrest that he told this I reckon.
  11. Wow, up until now I didn't have a clue this kind of stuff was on the forum.:shocked2: Wonder what would Chris and Jonny say to this...
  12. I can't see any of the songs that made it to the last EP on the forthcoming LP. That'd be just taking up place and something of a fraud to me.
  13. I'll be terribly disappointed if all this speculation that has started to make sense doesn't come true!
  14. I too hope this isn't the best they've got (not implying that it is bad, though).
  15. Well,well...if the album they are about to release was actually the album they were to start with, they probably wouldn't have me fall in love with their music. My opinion is based on an idea of an album consisting of HLH,ETiaW,MM and songs like that, but you ought to have in mind they might not include anything of this in the new album, which again I don't think likely. I'm a fan of theirs mainly because of parachutes and ARoBTtH, I still cannot form an opinion of X&Y, VLV wasn't especially attractive to me (save the '42',which again I think they needn't have changed after the introductory melody) and this new album...as I said, we don't really know what it is going to be like, but we can judge from the songs we got to hear... I like Us Against The World and Moving to Mars, and would be satisfied with an album consisting of songs like these. I do not dislike MM,HLH and EtiaW, but after listening to this band for ten years it is difficult to get used to them. And never before did any song require getting used to. It is all about what you were used to hear from them and your personal expectations,as for me at least. But I'm glad they still make music, and even with this experimentation that they go through, something good will turn up. There. Whoooa,my longest post so far (not intended, just got carried away). Cheers :D
  16. ^Well...that wasn't very convincing for me. :blank:
  17. What I would love the best is that neither of the songs recently performed is a part of the new album. I'd like completely new,yet unheard songs to make the final tracklist. That would be such a surprise, a pleasant one, to be sure. Now, I would definitely want a studio version of Hurts like Heaven, Charlie Brown etc.,but maybe as an EP or sth. The only reason is that we would get to hear more songs that way. Okay, I'm being so greedy...
  18. I marvel at all of your ingenious inventions and ideas, but somehow I doubt it is really going to be that complicated. The titles of the songs seem quite normal, although it needn't be connected at all with the name of the album. I guess all this waiting makes us inveterate fans investigate so much...with more than two months before the album is released (if the thing with October is reliable) we'll come to associate the name with a rare bonsai tree growing only in spring on Mars.
  19. Wait, how do we know this title/song is really taken into consideration, except that is written on CM's shirt? You talk of it as being a done deal. Just curious.:)
  20. I really like the reference to a biblical story of Daniel in 'Us against the World', if only the first part of that verse would get clearer as soon as possible.
  21. I don't actually listen to them to cheer me up. Not that that I use their songs to bring me down, to cry myself to sleep or anything. Anyways, I could propound Glass of Water, Life in Tehnicolor,ETiaW,and perhaps Charlie Brown as being different from the majority of their songs. Mind you, that's me only.
  22. I don't give much importance to the titles. It's like 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' for me. For example, 'Love in a lethal dose' could be something like new 'Fix you' or it could be another 'Glass of Water'. It could be anything.
  23. Pitbull ft. J. Lo - On the floor :laugh1: JK, Glasvegas - Geraldine
  24. D'awww...listening to 'We live in a beautiful world' in space (!),looking at the whole of our planet...that must be a special feeling.
  25. From their very first performance of this song you can hear Chris saying tires or something very like it. 'Ties' is a bit short for the word he pronounces. Now, I haven't listened to it performed at other gigs,so I can't say this is absoultely true.
