ETIAW - have to say, not my favourite performance of this. Is it just me or was the mixing terrible? Hard to hear Chris singing over the music. He came across a little frenetic for that small space too.

so I'm proven wrong the next day :( - with announcements of UK shows for end of May and June. American Express (their contest) stated they will be touring the US until the end of MAy - maybe they will hop over to Canada for a couple of dates as they tour across the US :thinking:

what about Hurts Like Heaven? I think it has single appeal

I thought I read elsewhere on this website that Coldplay was taping today at Jimmy Fallon's show but that it wasn't airing until Dec. 7 ???

I am guessing that if they plan on touring the US throughout the spring months (until the end of May, I think), I figured they would make a tour of Canada after that before they moved on to other parts of the world. Hopefully the summer...it would make travelling to a venue much more doable in the summer

just discovered the coldplaying store. Where do the items come from? the US? I waited 3 months for items from the Coldplay store...

I agree. Chris would have gone in there knowing what to expect. He seemed relaxed to me and comfortable. I don't think he would have shared so much if he had been feeling that way - he would have slid into jokes to defect questions instead

I expect Chris to be in a couple of skits. He was great on Extras. He was made for comedy skits. I expect them to do Paradise and Charlie Brown (maybe ETIAW)

AROBTTH - I think even Coldplay recognizes it as their best work to date. Each song stands strongly on its own. In concert they often play more songs from this album than any other.

they announced on the Ellen show today that Coldplay would be on her show again tomorrow - Nov. 3. I suspect it will be the unaired performances from their last visit but it was a nice surprise to hear about it.

I saw on Ellen today that they are on the show again tomorrow for her 1400th show. I am assuming she will be showing the unaired songs they did during breaks for the last show. I was surprised. I didn't hear anything about a second show

I agree too. Major Minus does sound better on the album. I don't usually say that about most tracks. I think the overlapping vocals add a dimension to the sound not captured in concert

for those buying... the large in the box set is very large

at Walmart in Canada I was able to buy the CD and a tshirt (black with MX running man) in a box set. $24.99 CAN I was surprised to find it. Didn't know it was an option
