  1. Beautiful!
  2. When you laugh at flip flopping Chris who 1x said he really didn't like shows like X-Factor, yet today he thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread. Still, you love him even more. I can just hear him say: I had no idea what I was talking about then, I was just lying. LOL
  3. What If (only b/c people are moaning about it)
  4. B/c they are reluctant and unpretentious rock stars Chris has a voice of an angel Jonny guitar riffs transport me to another planet I go to bed every night with a huge smile on my face, listening to their witty interviews At age 49, they're the only band I'll ever spend my precious time and money to see I love even their "worse" songs They can do no wrong in my eyes and it hurts when they are criticized, especially since I know how sensitive Chris is Oh and Chris is hot but yet humble. I've never wasted my time following any celebrity ever, so this means Chris is very special And yes, they're the best band in the world
  5. Have a great gig, everyone. Please report at least the setlist if you can.
  6. To be fair, Chris has referred to those as metalhead audiences that didn't care for soft rock. It really breaks my heart when I hear those stories. I'm so glad they soldiered on and found their own audience. What a tragedy had they packed their bags and gone home! It felt so good to read Roadie 42 blog where he referred to us as a Coldplay audience when writing about their September gig in ATL.
  7. NP. Right here. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60151&highlight=ticking+of+the+clocks
  8. Oh! My reference to Oprah had nothing to do with race or weight. Just some one famous who has publicly admitted they cannot walk in high heels. That's all.
  9. Oh! And when you watch the South Bank Show over and over again and skip the part where Coldplay don't win any awards at the Brits b/c it breaks your heart each time.
  10. I agree totally and support them unequivocally. There's no other band I'll spend money and time on.
  11. When a Client by the name of Jeff Martin calls and the 1st thing you ask them is, how's Chris doing? LOL
  12. Well, to tell you the truth, I still prefer AROBTTH to MX. The MX tracks I liked right away were the ballad types, like UATW, UFO, UWTB, etc. I'm self employed and work at home so I usually listen either on my cellphone or on my laptop. But yesterday I had to go pick up my son and a few of his friends from this play rehearsal at school. Of course I had MX playing in the car and when ETIAW started playing, all the boys were going crazy. Some knew the song and some didn't. But everyone was dancing in their seats. The stereo sound in the car was fantastic. So for me, every time I hear ETIAW play from now on, that's the memory I will always remember.
  13. I was at a live show 2 months ago. Young fans are very fond of Paradise and ETIAW. In fact, some were already doing the Paradise chant (the chant at the beginning of the song), and this is how the band say they judge interest in their music, by the way fans react to it. We can all sit here and post about our disappointment all day long. The reality out there is very different. There's a brand new generation of Coldplayers out there who absolutely loves anything Coldplay, old or new. Our train ride back to the parking garage was full of entire families of Coldplayers. I had my 2 sons, 13 and 16. Some of these other families spanned 3 generations, there was a grand-ma, her 2 daughters and their own sons and daughters. Sometime it was just a father and son, father and daughter, all kinds of combinations. This is pretty much a family event for most of us. Coldplay will make whatever music they desire and old and new Coldplayers will always spend money to buy their records or see them in concerts. Let's enjoy them while they can still make music. End of rant.:D
  14. I'm like Oprah. I just can't walk in high heels at all.
  15. The visuals are priceless though.
  16. Boy! The boys are going to lose sleep over this one.
  17. As long as they don't do a shitty duet with some contestant, I'm fine. Very reputable musicians and bands have performed on these shows in the US and have not been diminished in any way. I dare say Coldplay will gain more fans than they'll lose. They're not going to be judges and tell young kids they suck. They're just performing.
  18. Really? I can't make out what he's saying before he starts singing the Scientist. What did he say exactly? GKP? Her initials at the time?
  19. Indeed! I wonder where she was when he was stripped down to his undies with so many people in the dressing room. And that poor girl who got so emotional, following him to the van. A little creepy!
  20. Lovers in Japan (acoustic).
  21. I'm looking for the picture where Chris has I MISS YOU written on the back of his hand.
