  1. I hope this helps mankind in some way.
  2. I think you do multiquote for the 1st quote, for the rest you just press quote. All the quotes will appear in your post.
  3. This Fix You cover by Carrie Underwood on VH1 Unplugged is decent as well. I don't expect any artist to cover Coldplay and sound better than Coldplay. The test for me is whether or not a non-fan would like the cover enough to want to check out the original. 4. Oh well! Novak breaks to go up 4-3. Andy looks out of it. Failed to convert 5 championship points in the 2nd set.
  5. Andy is starting to cramp:-(
  6. 2 sets played in 2 hrs 36 min.
  7. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Novak won the 2nd set 7-6(11). I don't think Andy has much left in the tank for a 3rd set. Oh well!
  8. Novak has saved 3 championship points so far.
  9. Murray takes the opening set 7-5 in 1hr30 min. Very entertaining 1st set, both players evenly matched but Djokovic cracking toward the end of the set.
  10. Wow! Andy has gotten in Novak's head. I haven't seen the latter throw a tantrum on court in a very long time. He completely destroyed his racket when Andy broke him from 0-40. He got a well deserved warning for it
  11. They're at it again. Andy vs Novak in the Shanghai Masters Series final. Andy defeated Roger in straight sets to get to the final. It's already a good one with long rallies.
  12. Oh I totally got you! That was just a general vent:) And don't ask me what kind of wind  You won't get the joke unless you've listened to Coldplay Artists Confidential.
  13. But if people who aren't into Coldplay or have heard of them but never really took the time to listen to their music hear this interpretation and decide to take a listen to the original and love it, it's all worth it. That's all the band wants. Although Coldplay has sold 55 million albums and counting, there's a world out there who knows nothing about them. I live it every single day. Most people I meet at the store or the gym either don't know about Coldplay or aren't interested in their music. The Glee exposure seems to only hurt some fans for reasons I have a hard time undertanding.
  14. Definitely wore street clothes and probably no suit either.
  15. I could be wrong, but it seems like the dance party on the boat was kind of a surprise party thrown by Chris. At least that's what I want to believe
  16. It's possible! In that case they'd be 1 relaxed boat party, then another boat dance party with DJ Kayper where Chris sang Back for good ( there's an article on this thread with DJ Kayper's accounting of the event), the London party, and the NYC party. My understanding is that the dance party with DJ happened on the boat and it's during the same party that Chris sang Back For Good, not in London. http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/independent-woman/celebrity-news-gossip/chris-martin-serenades-gwyneth-with-take-thats-back-for-good-at-birthday-bash-3248108.html
  17. My understanding is that the dance party where Chris sang Take Back was still on the boat either in Portofino or Nice depending on where the boat was at the moment. I could be wrong though. Then there's the London party and then NYC. But who knows? Our info is from gossip websites.
  18. No, it's the same 3rd party with her mom, Spielberg, Diaz, Beyonce, etc..
  19. I came across this old interview the other day. Pectoralz did kind of exist. I really love reading Craig McLean's pieces about Chris. http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/entertainment/articles/2011-06/02/gq-music-coldplay-chris-martin-interview
  20. You're exaggerating. I can think of futile subjects that have gone on for ever. At least this one helps me examine why I'm so deeply in love with Coldplay. That's a plus!:)
  21. Let's see! I'm going to be 50 at this month's end. The last time I went to a concert before Coldplay was in the early 1990s. It was a stadium concert in Foxboro, MA with Elton John, Sting, Don Henley, Jimmy Buffet, Melissa Etheridge, etc... Since I became a mom in 1995, I live my life within a 3-4 miles radius, between my kids' school, the store, the gym, the church. I do my work at home. We're in a rural area where public transportation is miles away, so I really, really have to love a band to even dress up and figure out trains and buses to get to a concert. So far, only Coldplay has been able to accomplish that fit. I respect Bono as a humanitarian. While I have all of Coldplay's albums and EPs, I don't own a single U2's album. I tried to watch 1 of their 360 concerts on youtube and got bored quickly. While I like a couple of their songs, I couldn't possibly listen to any of their albums from start to finish like I do with Coldplay. So as we've been saying all along, it's just a matter of taste. The Coldplay sound (old and new) just reaches me in a way that U2's never did. I used to look for upbeat music for my workouts, but now I can exercise or walk for hrs listening to Coldplay music and interviews and giggle like a little girl (remember I'm going to be 50 at month's end). Beauty indeed is the eye of the beholder. Cheers!
  22. That's what messageboards are for. We beat a subject to death then we move on to the next one. No big deal. As Chris would say, it's not like working in the mines  For better or worse, when someone quotes me, I feel like I have to respond, sometimes, not always.:)
  23. Looking forward to my mornings these days. My son who barely turned 17 a couple of days ago, doesn't have his driver's licence yet, but he has a permit. So I sit beside him as he drives himself to school in the morning, and I love it when he turns on Coldplay. It's a short ride, so we can only do 1 song. Last week, he was obsessed with AROBTTH, the track. This week, it's Don't Panic. It reminds me a little bit of little Chris listening to Michael Jackson as his dad drove him to school. Perhaps my son (an aspiring musician) will tell our story when he's older.
  24. HLH The video is on repeat.
  25. Ha! Never claimed to be the world's best speller. If someone is going to nitpick and call a misspell an insult, I won't lose sleep over it. :)
